"I believe so, I believe he sticks in Miami. I'm sure he has started that process and has put the work in to earn the trust and rebuild the trust of his teammates, the organization, and the city as well. Very bad situation at the end of the season, it was. Tyreek knew that immediately, as I said before. We talked on the bus after the game, and I was brutally honest with him," Armstead stated.
Armstead has been a consummate professional his entire career and understands the Dolphins' season ending in the manner that it did was not great for anyone. However, he also indicated that his brutal honesty was to inform Hill that he could not quit on his team like that.
Hill appeared to have heard the message, as he also spoke on the "Kay Adams Show" to reveal that he apologized to quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and his teammates, and he also offered a public apology on the show as well.
Despite Hill being overtly frustrated about the end of the season, quitting on a team is never the right move. Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel also stated that he spoke to Hill about his behavior following the events.
Hill is currently healing from tearing a ligament in his wrist in the 2024 season, but all signs are pointing to the star receiver remaining with the Dolphins at least through the 2025 season.
