Now, Adams will head to free agency, where he'll look for his new home in 2025.
There are plenty of wide receiver needy teams in the NFL, and Adams proved he can still play at an elite level in 2024. Across 14 games with the Las Vegas Raiders and Jets, Adams reeled in 85 receptions for 1,063 yards and eight touchdowns.
Here are the top five landing spots for Adams in 2025.

5. Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones loves making a splash, and there would be few bigger ones than adding a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro First Teamer to your receiving core.
Adams would team up with CeeDee Lamb to create one of the best wide receiver duos in the league, and quarterback Dak Prescott would have his best cast of weapons as he looks to get Dallas back to relevance after a disappointing 2024 season.
4. Los Angeles Chargers
Justin Herbert needs weapons, and few are more reliable than Adams.
The Chargers' leading receiver last year was rookie Ladd McConkey with 1,149 receiving yards, and behind him was Quentin Johnston with 711.
Adams would give them a true No. 1, while allowing McConkey to continue to flourish in his second year.
3. San Francisco 49ers
The 49ers just saved a ton of money by trading wide receiver Deebo Samuel to the Washington Commanders.
Adding Adams to a receiving corps with Brandon Aiyuk and Jauan Jennings would make San Francisco fans quickly forget about the loss of Samuel.

2. New York Giants
After missing out on quarterback Matthew Stafford, the Giants have become a top landing spot for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Thus, they're a landing spot for Adams, too.
Rookie first-round pick Malik Nabers was phenomenal in 2024, reeling in 109 receptions for 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns across 15 games.
Pairing him up with Adams would be a lethal combo for the Giants' new quarterback in 2025 — whether it be Rodgers or someone else.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are in desperate need of wide receiver help.
George Pickens led the team with 900 receiving yards last year. The next two wide receivers on the list were Calvin Austin III (548 receiving yards) and Van Jefferson (278 receiving yards).
How about getting a true No. 1 receiver for whomever the quarterback is in 2025?
