FOX Sports has announced the broadcasting lineup for 2025 Indy 500, which includes former NASCAR and IndyCar drivers Danica Patrick and Tony Stewart.

Play-by-play announcer Will Buxton, who recently made the move from Formula 1 broadcasting to IndyCar, will be joined by James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell on Sunday, May 25 for the iconic event.

As testing and qualifying gets underway for the 109th installment of the prestigious race, FOX Sports has confirmed the full lineup of broadcasters for the late-May race weekend.

Stewart joins as part of the pre-race coverage. He had a five year stint in IndyCar from 1996 to 2001, and clinched the championship title in 1997. Over his career, he celebrated three race wins, seven podium finishes, and eight pole positions.

As well as his successful IndyCar career, he spent many years racing in NASCAR, rising through the ranks in the Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series, Cup Series, and later co-owned the Stewart-Haas Racing team with Gene Haas.

More recently, after SHR closed at the end of 2024, Stewart has earned his first NHRA Top Fuel win.

Patrick, who joins Stewart in the pre-race coverage, was the first woman to win a IndyCar Series race. She had an eight year career in IndyCar from 2005 until 2018. Over her time in the sport she had one race win, seven podium finishes, and three pole positions.

The 43-year-old also raced in the NASCAR Xfinity and Cup Series. In both series, she secured seven top-10 finishes, and one pole position.

Since her retirement from racing, Patrick has moved into broadcasting amongst other business ventures. She is currently part of the Sky Sports F1 team.
