Red Bull Racing has issued a statement after a horrific crash in qualifying for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix resulted in Yuki Tsunoda visiting the medical center for precautionary checks.
The Japanese driver crashed during Q1 when he lost control of the rear of the RB21. As he collided with the barriers, his car flipped and hit the catch fencing before landing the right way up.

Thankfully, Tsunoda was able to exit the car without any assistance, however, he was taken to the medical center to be checked.
Red Bull has now issued an update on Tsunoda, stating:
"Thankfully, Yuki has been checked and released from the medical centre after undergoing precautionary checks."

Speaking ahead of the race weekend, Tsunoda had shared his excitement for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which kicks off the European leg of the 2025 season. He explained in a press release from the team:
"I am looking forward to returning to Europe to race this week, Italy is where I have called home for a long time now and with such a crazy schedule across the season now, I value all the time I get to spend here.
"I hope everyone enjoys some good pizza and pasta this week and I hope it fuels the team and me to a good result. After Miami we knew we had work to do to get the car in a better place, we need a more balanced car to compete and I know how important it is for me to be pushing for higher places.
"We have some updates to bring to Imola and it should mean we see some positive improvements. I feel confident in the car in general, which is promising so early on in my time with the team and I know what I need to do. It's the team's 400th race too, so it will be a special weekend for everyone and one I am looking forward to."
