Spotify Wrapped Launch Has Internet Anxiously Awaiting: 'Where Is It'

Internet users took to social media to share frustrations and predictions about their yearly Spotify Wrapped statistics.

At the end of each year, Spotify gives its users a year in review of the music and podcasts to which they've listened. Spotify Wrapped shows users data on their top songs, artists, genres and how many minutes they've listened during the year. Spotify also creates various public playlists showcasing the most popular artists, genres and songs streamed throughout the year.

The five most streamed artists in the world on the streaming platform are Taylor Swift (82.4 million monthly listeners), The Weeknd (78.6 million monthly listeners), Ed Sheeran (75.8 million monthly listeners), Rihanna (71.7 million monthly listeners) and Drake (71.1 million monthly listeners).

Many internet users look forward to sharing Spotify's findings on their social media pages.

The streaming platform has been teasing the release of this year's Wrapped playlists and users are losing patience. Until the stats are released, internet users have been sharing their predictions and expressing their angst.

Spotify has yet to announce when Spotify Wrapped will launch.

"WHERE THE F*** IS MY SPOTIFY WRAPPED I CANT CONTAIN MYSELF ANY LONGER," one Twitter user wrote.

"I can't wait for my psych analysis (spotify wrapped)," another mentioned.

"I'm more excited for my spotify wrapped than my own birthday," admitted one user.

"'Nobody cares about your spotify wrapped' i do. i do care please post it everywhere," a user exclaimed, receiving over 39,000 likes on their tweet.

One user admitted, "I'm nervous to see my #SpotifyWrapped bc my music was all over the place this year."

"Before spotify wrapped comes out, y'all gotta realize that i went through approximately 20 personality changes and am not responsible for whatever song i looped for seven hours," one Twitter user said.

"Can spotify wrapped come out already i need to make it my entire personality," another stated.

"I DONT WANT TO WAIT DROP IT FASTER," one user echoed to Spotify.

"PLEASE I NEED IT IM GONNA DIE," another pleaded.

"Very excited to be showing all of you random little people in my phone about what phases I went through this year," a Twitter user said.

"A reminder that if anyone tells you that they don't care about your #SpotifyWrapped, I will always care because I'm a nosy piece of s*** and need to know what everyone else is listening to during their time on this god-awful mortal coil," another admitted.

"Waiting for Spotify wrapped is like waiting for a report card you know is gonna get you yelled at," a user wrote.
