Starbucks confirmed its winter menu will arrive on Thursday, and four fan favorites are included on the lineup along with some innovative new flavors.
Every year, Starbucks customers say goodbye to the fall flavors of Pumpkin Spice everything and say hello to a new menu lineup, which includes beloved beverages like Peppermint Mochas and Caramel Brulee Lattes.
This year, Starbucks' menu goes live on November 2, and four drinks from last year are making a comeback.
This includes the forever popular Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte as well as a newer Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte that made its debut in 2021.
Also on Starbucks' menu this year is a new gingerbread and chai tea-infused drink, the company told Newsweek.
Called the Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Tea Latte, fans of the lost but never forgotten Gingerbread Latte will likely enjoy this drink with a tea twist.
"It's a love letter to gingerbread and ginger," said Matt Thornton, senior beverage developer at Starbucks. "The gingerbread flavor amplifies the spice of the chai."
Each drink is made with a blend of oatmilk and black tea infused with cinnamon and warming spices before being topped with a sprinkle of spice, the company said.
Select locations that serve Oleato beverages will also offer the new Oleato Gingerbread Oatmilk Latte, Starbucks confirmed.
Billy Altieri, senior product developer for Starbucks, said the beverage includes flavors similar to a baked gingerbread and olive oil cake.
"The combination of the Starbucks Blonde Espresso with the steamed oatmilk infused with olive oil is nice and balanced with the gingerbread syrup uplifting all those spice notes. It's cozy and warming with an enjoyable dash of holiday flavors," he said.
If you're looking for a bite to eat along with your Starbucks beverage of choice, the coffee chain is bringing back five more favorites from last year.
This includes the Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Gingerbread Loaf, Sugar Plum Cheese Danish, Snowman Cookie and Cranberry Bliss Bar.
And a month later, on December 4, Starbucks will also be unveiling its new holiday cold foams, which range from Peppermint Chocolate, Sugar Cookie, Caramel Brulée and Chestnut Praline.
Shoppers have already been counting down the days until they can get their hands on the new menu items.
"THE RETURN OF GINGERBREAD OMG TOMORROW IM PUTTING ON CHRISTMAS CAROLS," one fan wrote on Instagram after some of the menu items were leaked.
Another said: "ICED GINGERBREAD OATMILK CHAI? SIGN ME UP."
Still, there were some disappointed fans who didn't see their favorite items return.
"I pray daily for one day the Eggnog Latte to come back," another customer wrote.
Others noticed even beloved drinks that were available last year didn't make the cut either.
"I am not okay with the fact they won't have Toasted White Mocha," a fan shared.
Starbucks Reserve Roasteries in New York, Chicago and Seattle will also serve a brand new alcohol-infused lineup this season, including the Peppermint Mocha Espresso Martini, Starbucks Reserve Peppermint Mocha and Oleato Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cold Brew. This comes alongside a menu of seasonal baked goods like the Princi Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl Cake, Pistachio Maritozzo, Apple Crumb Pie and Cranberry Cheese Danish.
Starbucks also uses the holiday season as a chance to sell a variety of Christmas and holiday cups.
"When we were looking at trends when designing this year's holiday, we kept seeing bright, bold, uplifting colors,'" said Kristy Cameron, creative director at Starbucks. "We found that magenta alongside the holiday reds and greens lifts the traditional holiday colors and makes the red look even brighter."
This year, shoppers can expect designs called Party Plaid, Peppermint Swirl, Ribbon Spool, Bauble Wrap and Cold Cup, a beverage holder perfectly designed for all your iced beverages.
"This year's holiday theme is 'Share the Joy,'" Cameron said. "It's our shared human experience and togetherness that makes the season special."
