Stephanie Matto—the reality star from the 90 Day Fiancé television series on TLC (where couples have 90 days to get married)—has been gaining attention recently for her flatulence. Matto's own pungent scent is being sold in a jar—yes, you read that correctly.

The 31-year-old has shared posts about her latest business venture on her social media accounts, including Instagram, TikTok and Twitter.

In a tweet on November 28, Matto wrote: "Whats the perfect holiday gift this year you ask? A beautiful packaged, wrapped, and custom made fart in a jar starting at $500..."

According to a video she shared on TikTok on November 29, she allegedly made nearly $50,000 in a week selling jars of her natural gas.

But why? Matto weighed in on the burning question in the TikTok video, saying: "I honestly think it's because I have a really good personality. And also because I'm hot."

In an interview with Buzzfeed last week, the reality star explained: "I think my main motivation was money, but I also thought it'd be a hilarious publicity move that would get a lot of people's attention. And it has definitely worked."

A viral TikTok video she posted titled "Day in the life of a girl who sells her farts in a jar!" (which reveals a bit of the process behind her gassy business, including eating lots of beans, protein powder and other foods) had at least 6.5 million views, Buzzfeed reported.

Who Is Stephanie Matto?

Matto has appeared in some recent seasons of 90 Day Fiancé in the past two years with her former girlfriend Erika Owens.

According to her latest profile on IMDb, she is an actress who has appeared in a 2009 film called She's Got It, which is described to be a story about a woman obsessed with her career.

Back in May 2020, it was reported that Matto also apparently starred in Nickelodeon's All That, which at the time solidified viewers' assumption that she is an actress hired by TLC, not Owens' true love.

Though there was nothing to support this theory at the time, many viewers were quick to assume Matto isn't actually gay, and that she came out on television in a bid to rake in more YouTube views.

Matto runs a risqué lifestyle vlog (featuring videos with titles such as "How I Got Rich Selling My Nudes") on her YouTube channel, which currently has 373,000 subscribers.

Despite her sexualized image online, Matto previously told Owens that she's celibate and the couple showed close to no affection on the show.
