They took home several awards, including the award for best metaverse performance. Individually, Lisa was awarded the moon man for Best K-Pop for her single, "LALISA," becoming the first female K-pop soloist to take home that award.

In summary, BLACKPINK took the world by storm on Sunday night, and several videos of stars reacting to the girl group's performance and wins went viral on Twitter on Monday.

In one video, Taylor Swift and Dylan O'Brien can both be seen loudly cheering ahead of BLACKPINK's performance, standing up in excitement and anticipation.

O'Brien appears to shout something that some fans speculate was something along the lines of, "Lisa I love you!"

Another video was posted of Swift and O'Brien dancing and positively vibing to "Pink Venom." The video itself has amassed 2.5 million views as of publication time.

BLACKPINK has more fans than just Swift and O'Brien, though.

One video of Lil Nas X turning to the people around him excitedly as BLACKPINK is introduced has roughly 170,000 views at publication time.

In the video, the "MONTERO" singer appears to say, "BLACKPINK? Oh my God, Jisoo."

Another video of singer and former Disney Channel star Dove Cameron celebrating when Lisa won Best K-pop has also been shared online.

In the video, she appeared to be chanting the idol's name before the winner was revealed and immediately put her hands up in celebration when it came to fruition.

And naturally, BLACKPINK has fans all over the world.

The Italian rock band and 2021 Eurovision winner, Måneskin, also mentioned the girl group when asked which artists they would like to collaborate with in the future.

"If you could pick one person from today to join your group, who is joining Måneskin?" the interviewer asked the band. While Vic, the bassist, said Nikki Minaj, the band's frontman, Damiano, replied, "The whole BLACKPINK group."

Following the VMAs, BLACKPINK is preparing to go on a world tour in October, and their second studio album, Born Pink, will be released on September 16.

Newsweek reached out to a representative for BLACKPINK for additional comment.
