Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce enjoyed an alfresco lunch date recently and it has sent the couple's fans into a meltdown online.

The famous couple who went public with their romance last September enjoyed a sushi lunch at the exclusive Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California, on Wednesday.

Swift and Kelce were recorded chatting over lunch by a fellow restaurant-goer. The clip was later posted to TikTok where it has gone viral.

They were later spotted walking out hand-in-hand with fans reacting online.

"Let them have privacy and be happy in love," commented @AVR808 on the TikTok.

User @NicoleC added: "This seems like an authentic, animated, comfortable conversation with a loved one." This comment referred to online rumors that Swift was allegedly "yelling" at the NFL star during their lunch.

Newsweek contacted Swift and Kelce's representatives by email for comment.

Another fan shared the video of the "Blank Space" singer and Kelce at Nobu hoping to prove those rumors wrong.

"Video of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recorded by a customer while at Nobu in LA today. For those who saw the still and thought Tay was "yelling" at Trav, this should allay your concerns. They are just a couple in love having a lovely meal al fresco," wrote @DaOtterside on X.

One other comment on the original TikTok suggested the person who recorded the video said the couple seemed happy together.

"The grandma/fan that got the selfie said they were holding left hands while eating 🥰," wrote @kcmyers.

The couple's Sunday outing comes after Kelce hinted at potentially having children with Swift.

He made the comments on the most recent episode of the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, called New Heights.

The brothers had been talking about NBA star Victor Wembanyama and his 7'4 stature.

"You can't tell me that dude wasn't made in a f****** lab over there in France. ... Lab-grown diamonds, that's [a] lab-grown f****** NBA player," Travis Kelce said and added with a smile, "Can't wait til I f****** make one," potentially implying he was keen to start a family.

Jason Kelce quickly shut down the conversation.

"Don't do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please," he warned his brother.

The couple connected in late 2023 after Kelce first mentioned his attempts to meet Swift on an episode of New Heights. He spoke about attending one of her concerts in Kansas City as part of her Eras world tour.

"Well, I was disappointed that she doesn't talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings," Travis said. "So I was a little butthurt I didn't get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her."

He continued: "I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," hinting it had his phone number on it so she could call him.
