On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl LVIII against the San Francisco 49ers, and Taylor Swift was there to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Following a nail-biting showdown on Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs squeezed a 25-22 victory in overtime over the San Francisco 49ers at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Swift had just flown in from Japan, where she had performed on her Eras Tour the day before, to support Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce as he and his teammates secured a back-to-back Super Bowl victory. The win gave Travis Kelce his third title ring.

After the Chiefs secured their 11th-hour win, Swift departed the VIP box from which she had watched the game to greet Travis Kelce on the crowded field. Now a clip online shows the pop superstar holding his mom Donna Kelce's hand as the pair walk up to him to congratulate him on his win.

Newsweek contacted Swift's publicist and reached out to Donna Kelce through Travis Kelce's publicist for comment via email Monday.

"Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce on the field going to Travis! #Chiefs #SuperBowl," the X account, formerly Twitter, @SwiftNYC posted on Sunday.

People took to the comments to express how much they love the two women's relationship.

"THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS," one person wrote in the comments alongside a crying emoji.

"Such a supportive soon to be mother-in-law," said another.

A third added: "The way Mama Kelce is holding Taylor's hand..."

This isn't the only sweet video from the night that is gaining traction online.

In video footage that has gone viral on X, Travis Kelce is seen hugging his mom as Swift stands by and looks on. He then runs straight for Swift and says, "Come here, girl," before giving her a hug and kissing her on the cheek several times. Swift then cups his face with her hands and plants more kisses on him as they continue celebrating his big moment.

Within 40 minutes of The Athletic's NFL reporter Dianna Russini posting the footage on X, it garnered more than 550,000 views. At the time of writing, it had been viewed almost 794,000 times.

Hours before the game, Swift flew in from Japan, where she recently recommenced her record-breaking Eras Tour. The pop star watched the game from the V.I.P. area, alongside rapper Ice Spice and actor Blake Lively.

Whether Swift would be in attendance at the big game was a huge talking point online and not long after the game started, some people online complained that she was shown too much on-screen.

Thankfully Swift doesn't seem to get too upset by people who are irritated by her attendance at football games.

When she won the 2023 Person of the Year she told Time: "I'm just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and p****** off a few dads, Brads, and Chads."

She added: "I don't know how they know what suite I'm in. There's a camera, like, a half-mile away, and you don't know where it is, and you have no idea when then [sic] camera is putting you in the broadcast, so I don't know if I'm being shown 17 times or once."
