Teenage Bounty Hunters is currently the third most-watched TV show on Netflix U.S., and many fans have already binged their way through the debut season and are eagerly awaiting news about Season 2.
Though Netflix has not confirmed whether there will be another season of the offbeat crime procedural, the first set of episodes ends with a cliffhanger that sets up more episodes. In Episode 10, titled "Something Sour Patch," (SPOILERS AHEAD) Sterling (played by Maddie Phillips) and Blair (Anjelica Bette Fellini) discover that despite believing their whole lives that they were twins, they are actually cousins.
With so much of Sterling and Blair's relationship founded on their "twintuition," this could have major implications for their relationship going into Season 2.
This was something that Fellini hinted at in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She said: "We really don't know how this new information is gonna affect their lives...they grew up 16 years believing that they were... twins. It's definitely going to be a journey."
Speaking to Bustle, meanwhile, Phillips explored her wishes for Teenage Bounty Hunters Season 2. She said: "We were introduced to some new environments in the last episode especially, so I'd be really curious to see where the stories will take place location-wise and whether that world is explored a little bit more."

The twin reveal was not the only thing we learned in the finale. After following a bunch of clues about their mother (/the woman Sterling thought was her mother) Debbie (Virginia Williams), the Teenage Bounty Hunters discover that their mother is on the lam after burning down an abortion clinic in her earlier years. This means that Season 2 is likely to have plenty more family secrets to reveal.
As for when Netflix could release Season 2 of Teenage Bounty Hunters, fans are probably in for a few month's wait for news. At one time, the streamer tended to announce the future of its shows just after a month after they have first released. However, over the last few months, this time has got longer and longer, with the streamer now taking two or three months to announce the news. As such, fans will probably not get any news about the future of the show until winter 2020.
However, there are some signs that the show will get a renewal. It is made by the production team behind Orange Is the New Black (which currently has the record for Netflix's longest-running show), while their GLOW will end after four seasons. As the pair have a production deal with the streamer and have had such success with their other shows, this means potentially good things for their latest project.
Teenage Bounty Hunters are streaming now on Netflix.
