Cat's Revenge Attack on Robot Vacuum Has Internet in Stitches: 'Take That!'

A video of a cat furiously attacking a robot vacuum cleaner has gone viral on TikTok, where it has received at least 1.3 million views.

The kitten, who is three months old according to TikTok user Lana (@lana.hidas) who posted the video, is seen hovering over the mobile device (which was turned off) and repeatedly smacking the central portion with its right paw in the latest footage.

A caption overlaid on the video reads: "he got scared of the robot vacuum and now he gets his revenge [skull emoji]."

The user wrote: "he wouldn't stop doing it... #cat #angrycat #funnycat #fyp," alongside the footage shared in the post, which received over 194,000 likes at the time of writing. You can see the post on TikTok here.

The post received at least 754 comments, including from Lauren who wrote: "Take that!," anticipating what the kitten may be thinking while attacking the vacuum.

Babolandia also noted what may be going through the cat's mind, writing: "This is for this, and for that, and for that..," in a comment that received 547 likes.

Predrag Jancic who said: "go help him," in a comment that received 1,404 likes at the time of publishing.

Arron McKenzie wrote: "He's teaching it a lesson. Don't move or nobody gets hurt! [face with tears of joy emoji]."

Abder Rahim simply said: "Anger management class."

When user plantcraftie asked: "why does he actually smacks that thing hard [flushed face emoji] imagine the you're just reading a book and that cat slaps his fist in your face," to which Lana replied: "He is a little crazy but he can only bite and scratch occasionally, nothing violent, it's just personal with the robot."

User izz said: "please turn the robot on again wanna see his reaction," to which the original poster replied: "nooo, I don't want him to be traumatized for life."

Some users shared similar experiences they'd had with their own cats, such as June who said: "aww my kitten jumps on ours n attacks it while it's on she keeps getting it the way so it doesn't vacuum properly lol."

Lana then replied: "nah, mine is too scared to go near it when it's on. he's only brave when it's off [rolling on the floor laughing emoji]."

Tommy said: "my cats attack the robot sometimes, or at least did when we first got it. except that if you hit the bumpers or knock it out of place it yells out you."

WizardKitty666 wrote: "our cat realizes that the charger is what powers him so everytime he tries to go and assassinate our roomba."

User4996854273532 said their cat also responded by peeing. The user wrote: "my cat literally peed on my Roomba [robot vacuum] several times, I have to close the kitchen where it is stored now."

One user said their dog also reacted the same. Inger wrote: "My dog hates the robot lawnmower, so whenever it's charging he pees on it," to which the original poster replied: "oh god i hope my kitty doesn't pee on it."
