Things went south when a woman used her date's bathroom and seemingly found various items, like perfume, a hairbrush and pregnancy tests, tucked away in his drawers and cabinet.

TikTok user Elle, known on TikTok @.lifeisahighway420, documented her findings in a viral video that has amassed nearly eight million views. While in the bathroom, Elle recorded what she allegedly found in her date's cabinet underneath the sink and in some drawers. As she finds the different products, J. Cole's song "She Knows" plays in the background.

"Uhmmm what should I do?" the video caption read.

In the comments section, Elle explained she was looking for toilet paper when she first stumbled across the products and was surprised to find them. A few hours later, she recorded the now-viral video.

"Took me here for the first time after 5 dinner dates," she wrote. "I was looking for toilet paper not snooping, I suspected nothing until this."

Although some commenters criticized the TikToker for going through her date's belongings, others urged her to find out if her date was in a relationship.

"Sis leave a note in the drawer and dipppppppp out ASAP—no one deserves this," a TikTok viewer wrote.

Another commenter suggested it was ironic that there were people who were upset that Elle was looking through her date's drawers.

"It doesn't look like he was taught to respect his monogamous relationships/GFs," they wrote.

"All the men in the comment section PRESSED," a viewer wrote.

Elle provided a brief update and alleged that her date had a girlfriend of seven months. She claimed that she found her through one of his friends and reached out to her. Her date's girlfriend, she said, broke up with him.

"I felt terrible but I'm glad she dodged a bullet by leaving him," a caption on a follow-up video read.

Some questioned the video and the TikToker, but others shared their own experiences with unfaithful partners. Not everyone's experiences ended the same way as Elle.

"A similar thing happened to me and I showed her everything and she stood with him and blocked me," one viewer wrote.

This is not the first time someone took a relationship to the popular video-sharing platform.

Newsweek previously reported that jeweler @ceo.liv posted a video that shows an order she received. A customer asked Liv to engrave a necklace with the couple's anniversary date. The customer also discovered her boyfriend allegedly cheated on her and asked to have the names of the women he cheated with engraved on the necklace.

Newsweek reached out to Elle for further comment but did not hear back in time for publication.
