Tower of Fantasy: How to Change Your Appearance

With Tower of Fantasy offering up special Halloween-themed skins and items, players are no doubt looking to get their hands on the new Rose Thorn outfit. However, once you've acquired the outfit, you'll need to equip it, which requires you to change your appearance in Tower of Fantasy. Luckily, doing so isn't that difficult. Here's what you need to know.

Unlike many other MMOs, Tower of Fantasy doesn't offer you multiple classes to start off with, and it doesn't limit you to one particular outfit when you first start off, either. In fact, you can actually change your character's appearance and gender at any time while playing Tower of Fantasy, which makes it easy to keep your character looking fresh and ready for battle.

Unfortunately, changing your appearance in Tower of Fantasy isn't free, and it will actually cost you Dark Crystals, one of the premium currencies available in the game. To go through with the process, though, open up your backpack and click the Outfits button near the lower part of the screen.

This will open up the avatar customization menu, which you've already probably gotten accustomed to when making your avatar originally. With the menu open, you can customize your character as if you're creating them for the first time—this means you can change your hair, eyes, nose, mouth, and other attributes, as well as your accessories like scars, headwear, and more.

Completing the customization will cost you either 100 Dark Crystals or a Beauty Voucher. Thankfully they're a little easier to earn than Old Vera Coins, and you can earn Dark Crystals by completing world exploration or even by taking on weekly tasks, but you'll need to drop quite a few to complete the changes and get back out into the game world.

You can also change your character's outfit at any time from this same menu, which allows you to customize your how avatar looks a little bit. Again, changing the color of the outfit will cost 100 Dark Crystals or a Beauty Voucher.

You can also change out your Simulacra, which is essentially a special outfit and appearance change for your character. You'll unlock new Simulacra throughout the game, just by completing quests and drawing new ones from the Special Purchases section of the menu.

Tower of Fantasy players will find plenty of customization options available to make their character look unique, and you can make use of the Simulacra system to equip new abilities, weapons, and fighting styles.
