Brutal Travis and Jason Kelce Comparison Goes Viral

Since Travis Kelce began dating Taylor Swift, the Kansas City Chiefs' tight end has found himself at the center of a media storm.

The rumored couple appeared to confirm their relationship status on Saturday, when the 34-year-old football star showed up at the singer's Eras tour concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Travis Kelce's brother, Philadelphia Eagles' center Jason Kelce, has also received a profile boost as a result of the speculation—not that he needed it.

Kelce, which premiered on September 12 and focuses on the 36-year-old's career throughout the 2022-2023 NFL season, has become Amazon Prime's most-watched documentary ever in the U.S., while the sports star has also been named one of People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive finalists this year.

The fact that Jason Kelce beat out his younger brother for the spot has not gone unnoticed, with sports fans poking fun at the pair on social media.

Posting a seemingly unflattering photo of the Kelce brothers during their college years, when they both played for the University of Cincinnati, X user Zach Blandford wrote: "One of these guys was a finalist for sexiest man alive and the other is dating Taylor Swift."

Since being shared on November 12, Blandford's post has received 4.6 million views and over 53,000 likes.

"They look like the cartoon henchmen in a Disney movie," joked @JakerBrahney.

"Never give up on your dreams, boys!" said RupertKnows.

"The dad bod it's getting the recognition it deserves," commented Sea Stellar.

"It's nice to see the grizzly bears get some love," agreed Joe Barry Twitzer.

In response to the news he'd made the Sexiest Man Alive shortlist, Jason Kelce shared a photo of himself from the magazine spread, along with the caption: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Other famous faces to make People's Sexiest Man Alive list included The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal, 48, Dune star Timothée Chalamet, 27, R&B sensation Usher, 45, The Burial actor Jamie Foxx, 55, and singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz, 59.

However, the top spot went to actor Patrick Dempsey, best known for playing Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd in the medical drama Grey's Anatomy, in which he starred for 11 seasons, Disney's musical love story Enchanted (2007), and Bridget Jones' Baby (2016).

During a recent interview with NBC Sports, Jason Kelce said he was pleased that his brother has found love, but that the sudden media attention surrounding Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift was disturbing.

"It's certainly been weird, the level that it is now," he told sports reporter Peter King on October 22.

"I'm happy for my brother that he seems to be in a relationship that he's excited about, that he is genuine about. But there's another end of it where it's like, 'Man, this is a lot.'"

Although there has been no official confirmation of their relationship, Swift amended the lyrics to her track "Karma" as a tribute to her rumored boyfriend during Saturday's gig.

Instead of singing the usual line of "Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me," the 33-year-old sang: "Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me," and was later seen running off stage to give the football star a kiss.
