Travis Kelce's bye-week plans became a note of interest last month as his relationship with Taylor Swift heated up.

On Oct. 19, Entertainment Tonight reported that the Kansas City Chiefs star planned to visit Swift during the team's week off as she kicked off her Eras Tour's international leg in Argentina, quoting a source that described the couple as "all in" on their relationship.

On Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason Kelce, Travis said he needs to deal with some bumps and bruises as a result of a hard-fought game against the Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt, Germany.

"I plan on getting this body right," Kelce said when Jason asked him about his bye-week plans. "I got a little bit more banged up this week than I was hoping, which keeps you around and keeps you trying to get better."

Still, Jason prodded his younger brother a bit, asking if he plans to go anywhere during an ad for Seat Geek.

"Not really," Kelce answered. "I might just say f*** it and just go somewhere nice, I don't know. My skin's getting real pale so I've got to go somewhere sunny."

Kelce added that he might go "closer to the equator."

"South of the equator?" Jason asked, and Kelce laughed.

Newsweek reached out to Kelce's representation via email regarding his bye-week plans.

Kelce faced pointed questions from reporters in Germany about his relationship with Swift. He told them his status with Swift is "I got to see her last week," and when asked if he is "in love" with the pop star, he said he will "keep my personal relationship personal."

On the podcast Wednesday, Kelce said he doesn't like to make bye-week plans since life in the NFL can be unpredictable.

"You just don't know how healthy you are going to be," Kelce said. "You don't know how you are going to feel. Whether you are winning or losing, I'm not trying to go and f****** be out and about if we are out here losing. Obviously fortunate we are 7-2 and where we are at in the season, but I've definitely got the future in mind. Got to get this body right and get as healthy as possible going into arguably the biggest game we have on the schedule."

The "biggest game" Kelce referenced is Kansas City's Nov. 20 showdown against Jason and the Eagles on Monday Night Football, which pits the league's top two records against one another. Both teams will be well-rested coming off their bye weeks, and both teams are riding important wins after the Eagles handled the Cowboys in Week 9.

Jason approved of his younger brother's plan to try to stay healthy.

"If I can give you any words of [advice], get in that sauna baby," Jason said. "Get those recovery juices flowing. It was right around 33 or 34 for me that it really started to change. So, the bye week is big."

"Bye week is big," Kelce agreed. "I'll be doing a lot of activation."
