The Context

The teammates first announced their restaurant concept in March 2024, revealing they partnered with hospitality group Noble 33 to create a "modern American steakhouse," 1587 Prime's Instagram bio states.

The name was inspired by Mahomes and Kelce's jersey numbers, which are 15 and 87 respectively.

The restaurant will be located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, which is roughly 8 miles—or a 12-minute drive—from the Kansas City Chiefs' home at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

"Experience 1587 Prime at its home in the iconic Loews Hotel, Kansas City. Our restaurant spans two elegant floors, offering the perfect ambience for intimate gatherings and grand occasions," its website reads.
