Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes Employee Salaries Revealed for Restaurant

The salaries of Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes' new restaurant employees have been revealed.

The Kansas City Chiefs stars are opening a new steakhouse called 1587 Prime, and several job listings have been posted online.

Newsweek reached out to Kelce and Mahomes' representatives via email for comment.

The Context

The teammates first announced their restaurant concept in March 2024, revealing they partnered with hospitality group Noble 33 to create a "modern American steakhouse," 1587 Prime's Instagram bio states.

The name was inspired by Mahomes and Kelce's jersey numbers, which are 15 and 87 respectively.

The restaurant will be located inside the Loews Kansas City Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, which is roughly 8 miles—or a 12-minute drive—from the Kansas City Chiefs' home at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

What To Know

Kelce and Mahomes are hiring three new positions at 1587 Prime, including an executive chef with at least seven years of experience.

Per to the job description, the "chef will be a key part of the 1587 Prime brand and will work closely with Operations. The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall food quality of all food items, controls COGS, trains and oversees all back of house employees and areas, ensures company standards and may be responsible for seasonal specials and menu changes."

The salary listed ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year.

The restaurant is also looking for an operation manager, who will be "responsible for driving the company's vision during the daily operations of the restaurant," the job description states. "The Operations Manager will ensure that employees are equipped to execute to our brand standards so that all guests have an engaging and dynamic experience."

The salary listed ranges from $55,000 per year to $90,000 per year.

Lastly, 1587 Prime is hiring a bar manager at $70,000 to $80,000 per year. According to the job description, their responsibilities will include: "Marketing initiatives, staff scheduling, training and execution, cost control and driving top line revenue as continual focus."

"[It's] just another thing that we want to bring to Kansas City, to be able to show our appreciation for the city, knowing how much they love their food and how much they love their football."

In a press release announcing 1587 Prime, Mahomes said: "Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City."
