Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is not opposed to signing autographs, and after a discussion with his brother Jason last year on the New Heights podcast, you might even be able to convince him to sign your baby.
That said, if you try to hand Travis his 2013 Topps rookie card, make sure you have a fire extinguisher handy.
On the latest episode of New Heights, Jason brought up a Reddit post in which a listener shared his signed Travis Kelce rookie card.
"I f****** hate that card," Travis grumbled. "It's disgusting, dude."

The card features Kelce pretending to catch a ball with his mouth open wearing an Under Armour shirt.
"Why would they pick that picture for my rookie card?" Travis said. "Like what the f***? Who chooses that s***?"
He said the photo was taken at the NFL Draft Combine, which was—in his words—the only time he ever wore a shirt from Under Armour, since he's a Nike athlete.

Jason noted that it looks like Travis is trying to catch the ball with his mouth.
"If anybody ever asks me to sign that card again, I will set it in flames right there in front of you," Travis said.
As Jason pointed out, rookie cards get increasingly valuable over the years, especially rookie cards autographed by the player. One signed version of the rookie card was on sale for $379 on Wednesday, while an unsigned mint version could be found on eBay for $124.
"Think how the value of the card is going to be," Jason said.
"When it's on fire?" Travis quipped.
"Well no, when you're dead. It's going to happen when you're dead, unfortunately," Jason said. "When you're dead and gone, and people are trading the most prized Travis Kelce playing card, this is it. [...] This is going to be the highest-dollar item for Travis Kelce memorabilia one day."
Travis protested, which indirectly makes Jason's prediction more likely to come true. After all, if there's one thing that makes a piece of sports memorabilia more valuable than an autograph, it's rarity. If Travis wants to make sure that his mouth-agape rookie card isn't the most valuable piece of his memorabilia one day, the best way to go about it might be to sign every single one he can get his hands on.
Kelce and the Chiefs start their playoff run on Saturday at 8 p.m. against the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
