After news broke that a plane carrying former President Donald Trump was forced to make an emergency landing, his PAC began fundraising for a new plane.

According to a new email sent to PAC members, Trump may be looking to fundraise for a new "Trump Force One" aircraft. In the statement, he refers to himself as "the greatest President of all time" and reveals the construction of a new airplane that he allegedly kept under close wraps.

The release of the email came less than an hour after reports surfaced that a plane carrying Trump had to make an emergency landing on Saturday, Politico reported. The private plane, on its way to Palm Beach, Florida, was allegedly in the air for 20 to 30 minutes before one of the engines stopped working. After the malfunction, the pilot turned around and landed at an airport in New Orleans. Earlier, Trump had been in that city attending a donor retreat hosted by the Republican National Committee.

"I have a very important update on my plane, but I need to trust that you won't share it with anyone," wrote Trump in the newly released email. "My team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One."

The statement also touts the fact that its construction was seemingly kept from everyone, especially media outlets.

"The construction of this plane has been under wraps," Trump explains, "not even the fake news media knows about it—and I can't wait to unveil it for everyone to see."

The email gives recipients the chance to "see the new Trump Force One" if they click an embedded link. This embed redirects to a donation page where recipients can donate between $5 and $2,000 to the Save America JFC PAC. However, that page does not have a photograph of the so-called Trump Force One that was teased in the initial email.

It is unclear where donations made from this email will be allocated, whether they will go to the PAC's general fund or specifically toward the construction of the Trump Force One.

The donation website also gives potential donors the opportunity to make recurring donations.

"The future of our Country is at stake and President Trump is calling on all Patriots to join his fight to Save America," said one checkbox asking for a recurring donation. "Will you step up?"

"We can't slow down," says another box that asks for an additional $5 donation. "President Trump is calling on you to step up before our next deadline. Having enough cash on hand is essential to SAVING AMERICA from Joe Biden and his liberal cronies."

Newsweek has reached out to representatives of Trump for comment but has not received a response.
