Former President Donald Trump shared an article that argued women "love and miss" him on his Truth Social platform on Friday, with just days until the midterm elections.
Trump highlighted an article from DC Enquirer with the headline "New Poll Shows Women LOVE & MISS Trump, Are Abandoning Dems In Double-Digit Landslide" that discussed a Wall Street Journal poll on Wednesday of white suburban women.

His latest post comes as Republicans appear poised for gains in midterm elections that will take place on November 8, with the GOP favored to take control of the House of Representatives.
Trump has also teased a 2024 White House run at a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, on Thursday night after months of speculation that he will mount another presidential campaign. Recent reporting from Axios suggests he could make a formal announcement after the midterms.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday that white suburban women had "significantly shifted" their support toward the GOP, and the key demographic now favors Republican candidates for Congress by a margin of 15 points. That's a 27 percent move away from the Democrats since The Wall Street Journal's poll in August.
Trump won 57 percent support from white women in the 2020 presidential election, compared to 40 percent who voted for President Joe Biden, according to the Pew Research Center. In 2016, Trump won 47 percent of support among the same group, while 45 percent backed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The website Trump linked to, DC Examiner, describes itself as "unabashedly conservative."
Other polling suggests that Republicans are set for positive results in the midterms. Poll tracker FiveThirtyEight rates the GOP as favored to win the House, with an 84 percent chance of winning the chamber.
Republicans are now slightly favored to win the Senate, which FiveThirtyEight had considered a dead heat. The poll tracker gives the GOP a 55 percent chance of taking control of the Senate.
It remains to be seen if 2022 will be a so-called "red wave" election where Republicans perform extremely well as polls suggest close races for the Senate in key states including Georgia and Pennsylvania.
Trump also shared an article on Truth Social from the satire site Babylon Bee that carried the headline "Democrats Worried Republicans May Take Lead Beyond Margin Of Cheating."
Trump has continued to make the unfounded claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him through voter fraud and other irregularities, a claim echoed by some GOP midterm candidates.
The former president told supporters at the rally in Sioux City, Iowa, on Thursday night that he had won both the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections, as he dropped more hints about his intentions for 2024.
"I won twice, and did much better the second time than I did the first," Trump said. "And now, in order to make our country successful and safe and glorious, I will very, very, very probably do it again, OK?"
Newsweek has asked Trump's office for comment.
