A four-year-old tweet predicting that Kanye West would one day speak glowingly of Adolf Hitler has become a viral talking point on Twitter.
West, who has legally changed his name to Ye, made an appearance on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' show Infowars on Thursday, alongside documented white nationalist and antisemite Nick Fuentes.

Wearing a full face mask, West said that Hitler invented microphones and highways, praised the rule of the genocidal Nazi dictator, and denigrated Jewish people and Israel.
The musician and fashion designer, 45, added that he "liked" Hitler and said that nobody knew the meaning of antisemitism until he started sharing conspiracy theories about the Jewish race in 2022.
"They did good things, too," West said. "We've got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time."
Jones—who has said "Jewish mafia" controls the planet and alluded to the "one world government" conspiracy theory often espoused by antisemitic groups—occasionally interceded, saying "we don't like Nazis."
West's interview came after he made a string of antisemitic comments both on social media and in interviews in October and November. His actions have led to him losing a number of lucrative business deals, including those with Adidas and Balenciaga.
However, West has sparked furor with his comments on several occasions over the years, including in 2018, when he said that slavery was a choice.
"When you hear about slavery for 400 years... For 400 years? That sounds like a choice," West said in an interview with TMZ in 2018. "You were there for 400 years and it's all of y'all. It's like we're mentally imprisoned."
Following West's comments, comedian Zack Fox posted a tweet that went viral four years ago, and read: "Highly recommend getting off the Kanye train before it inevitably reaches the 'Hitler was a good guy' stop."
A screenshot of the post was shared on a viral TikTok video in the hours that followed West's Infowars appearance, alongside the caption: "He literally predicted what Kanye would be like."
The video attracted more than 750,000 views within hours of being uploaded.
After facing widespread backlash over his slavery comments, West made an appearance on Chicago radio station WGCI 107.5, where he apologized.
"I don't know if I properly apologized for how that slave comment made people feel," West. "I want to take this moment right now to say that I'm sorry for hurting, I'm sorry for the one-two effect of the MAGA hat into the slave comment, and I'm sorry for people who felt let down by the moment."
Meanwhile, at some junctures in his Infowars appearance on Thursday, West's comments were so inflammatory that even Jones pushed back following several minutes of the rapper accusing Jews of being pedophiles.
"I think most Jews are great people," Jones said. "But I agree there's a Jewish mafia."
"You've got a bit of a Hitler fetish going on," Jones added.
"It's not a fetish," Ye responded. "I just like information."
Ye and Fuentes—who has made numerous denigrating comments about Jewish people as well as other minority groups—said they were not antisemitic throughout the appearance, with Fuentes adding there are numerous "good" Jewish people out there, including conspiracy theorist and failed congressional candidate Laura Loomer.
At one point, Fuentes appeared to downplay the Germans' use of concentration camps, noting that the U.S. "had camps as well." He then said there was a Jewish cabal running numerous facets of modern society, and that West's comments did not cause any harm.
West added that Democratic megadonor George Soros—a Jewish man who has become a boogeyman of the far right—could one day "come to Christ."
"I don't think Ye or I are saying that any group is particularly bad or that the Jews as a group are bad, but there are Jewish practices that are based on Jewish law, and there is clearly some kind of a Jewish mafia," Fuentes said.
