A woman's TikTok video went viral after recounting that while she was driving for Uber on Friday, the man whom she was dating and another woman were her passengers.

Jen Worden, who goes by the handle of @jword444 on TikTok, posted the clip. In the video, which has received more than 3.1 million views and 2,347 shares, Worden explains that she decided not to go out on Friday and instead wanted to make some money by driving for Uber.

She says that while she was driving, two passengers got into the back of her car. Apparently, one of the passengers happened to be the man she was casually dating.

"When you decide to stay in on a friday, drive for uber and your man gets in the back seat with another girl," the on-screen text read.

Worden told Newsweek she started driving for Uber a month ago to make some extra money apart from her full-time job. Since Worden recently began her ridesharing gig, the man she said she was dating did not know she was an Uber driver.

In order to be a driver for Uber or other rideshare companies, individuals must be able to provide a valid driver's license, car insurance if they plan to use their own car, and proof of residency—along with a clear background check and over a year of driving experience.

Worden explained that when the man got in the car, the two of them made eye contact in the rearview mirror. She said they definitely recognized each other but neither decided to say anything.

During an Uber ride, drivers are able to cancel a ride if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable with a passenger. But Worden said it never crossed her mind to not complete the ride. She said she didn't want to overreact or "be dramatic" because she recently met the guy and wasn't sure what was actually happening.

Worden went into more detail about the aftermath in a series of follow-up videos throughout the week. In one clip, she explained that when she first met the guy on the dating app Hinge, the two met each other's friends. She said one of the friends she met was the woman who requested the Uber and got into the car with the man.

Worden said that within five minutes of dropping them off on Friday, the guy called her and apologized for not saying something during the ride.

"At this point like 90 percent of me thought that they were just friends and it was just a misunderstanding, crazy coincidence, right?" Worden said in another follow-up video.

Worden said, however, that there was still 10 percent of her that thought the man and the woman could have been on a date. She explained that she thought this because when she met a group of the man's friends, they talked about how he used to have a "thing" with one of their friends.

Worden said the guy texted her on Saturday and asked if they could talk. He said there was "nothing going on between that girl" and that they were just "really good friends."

In the video, Worden said the two talked and everything was fine. She said during the conversation, she asked if the woman in the car was the same person he used to have a "thing" with. He said no.

On Sunday, Worden went to a local bar with her two friends who were discussing the situation. She explained that they were friends with the bartender and they all started talking about her original TikTok video going viral.

The bartender then told Worden and her friends that she was friends with the woman from the story, and that the woman coincidentally was actually sitting at the other side of the bar.

"It was in Pittsburgh, which is actually a relatively large city, so it's pretty crazy all of the events that unfolded," Worden told Newsweek.

The bartender also told Worden that the guy and the woman were "definitely more than friends."

"That's when the girl comes up to me, we start talking, and it is confirmed that that was the girl that he had a thing with," Worden said in the video.

Worden then told the guy to come to the bar so they could talk. When he arrived, she said they grabbed a table and he "came clean."

Worden told Newsweek that she hasn't spoken to the man since, but the woman had reached out and wanted to talk.

In the comments of the now-viral TikTok, many users joked about how awkward of a moment that must have been. Others recounted their awkward experiences running into the people they were dating.

"This would be my villain origin story," one user commented.

"Divine timing bestie," another comment read.

"I was the waitress for the guy I was talking to and his date," a user remarked.
