The Umbrella Academy has had an impressive run on the Netflix top 10 charts. There were some rumors that Netflix may have secretly renewed Umbrella Academy Season 3 in July before Season 2 even came out. Per What's On Netflix, the streamer has already started a writers' room for the show, with Future Man's Elizabeth Padden and Girl Meets World's Lauren Otero joining to pen scripts.
This would not be the first time that Netflix has renewed a show in secret. The streamer, for example, only announced that Elite would be back for Season 3 after the entire set of episodes had already been filmed.
