Resurfaced Ring doorbell footage that shows a bear cub attempting to catch snowflakes has delighted the internet.

The video, which was first uploaded to Ring's YouTube account in December 2020, was re-posted in Reddit's "Awww" forum on Thursday by u/vaginalera, who wrote: "Here's something to make your day better."

So far, the post has garnered more than 60,000 upvotes and over 400 comments from Redditors who said the "un-bearably cute" footage did, actually, have a positive effect on their days.

The clip opens with a mother bear and its cub walking along someone's driveway mid-snowfall. Suddenly, the bear cub stops, stands on its hind legs and reaches its paws towards the sky in what appears to be an attempt to catch some of the falling snowflakes.

"Ah yes, the happy snowflake dance," wrote u/CataclysmDM. "Adorable."

The cub continues to "dance" around on its hind legs for a few moments, completely enraptured by the snow. Its mother, however, doesn't stop. Instead, she walks out of frame. Once the cub realizes its mother is gone, it drops back on all fours and walks off.

"That's so cute, I can't bear it," commented u/CaffeineSippingMan.

"Un-bearably cute," joked u/ColdAnarchy.

"It worked! My day really is now amazingly BETTER!" exclaimed u/Wwwweeeeeeee. "Baby bear got his boogie on!"

"It really did make my day better," added u/Miraclebabies. "My take on life has improved from watching 'Awww' videos, reminds me how absolutely amazing the animal world is."

As it turns out, watching cute animal videos can "boost mood and concentration," CBC News said. This is because the "cute image" delivers a "minuscule blast" of dopamine to the brain.

A study conducted by the University of Leeds also discovered that watching cute animal videos can "contribute to a reduction in stress and anxiety," Newsweek reported.

Funnily enough, this wouldn't be the first time someone's home surveillance footage captured a bear exhibiting unusual behavior.

Over the summer, Kristine Levine from Bristol, Connecticut caught a black bear via surveillance video stealing a package of toilet paper from her front porch. The video went viral after she posted it to Facebook and wrote: "[If]anyone sees an Amazon package in the Chippens Hill area with my name on it...feel free to bring it back."

And in December, a mother bear and its cub were caught pawing at the door handle of a home in Sanford, Florida.
