Is 'Vanderpump Rules' Star Stassi Schroeder Still Getting Married in Italy This Fall?

Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder is planning to get married in Rome this October, but Coronavirus may have other plans. Flying to Italy isn't possible right now due to the quick spreading respiratory virus. Come October, though, even Schroeder isn't sure how her wedding will play out.

In a video chat with Andy Cohen for Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen with fiance Beau Clark, she revealed the wedding is still on, for now, but seemed to suggest that could change.

"Who the heck knows?" was the first response from Schroeder when asked about their upcoming nuptials, according to E! News. She then followed up with the current plan. "We're keeping on it," Schroeder clarified. "We bought our flights because they're really cheap right now."

Schroeder and Clark were engaged in August 2019, apparently while touring the Hollywood Forever cemetery. Schroeder claimed she was browsing mausoleums, seemingly for herself, when Clark popped the question unexpectedly, according to Brides.

The TV pair is far from the only couple waiting to become newlyweds, both inside and outside of America. Growing concerns for wedding plans seem to be added to the list of canceled concerts, television shows and more. Wedding plans, for most, hit closer to home.

Bindi Irwin is one of the last celebrities to tie the knot in the wake of coronavirus. Steve Irwin's daughter canceled her attendees and married Chandler Powell in a "small ceremony." While her Instagram announcement to reveal the March 25 nuptials was full of hope, Irwin did say she planned to have a big wedding but had to cancel for the safety of everyone.

Google is already flooded with questions of "should I cancel my wedding due to coronavirus?" Schroeder and Clark seemingly have time to decide if postponing, or taking guests out of the equation like Irwin, is something they'll need to do in the wake of social distancing. For brides with Spring weddings, the time to consider alternative options is now, according to The Knot. The wedding site is offering a 24/7 hotline to help brides navigate the unknown territories if their wedding falls within the next eight weeks.

The CDC recommended that no mass gatherings with 50 people or more be held in the U.S. for the next eight weeks because of the coronavirus.

Trying to rebook early, even for far off wedding dates could be ideal, according to Today. "We were extremely limited in options and had about four dates to choose from, which were all Sundays in late fall and winter of 2020/2021," bride to be Olivia Proper told Today. "Originally, we had planned for a Saturday wedding in early spring."

Because weddings are one major event that book years in advance, couples may find issues reserving their desired venue at a future date.
