A Ghana fan has gone viral on social media after he is seen brutally trolling South Korea supporters in the moments after the African side scored in Monday's World Cup match between the Black Stars and the Taegeuk Warriors.

Ghana picked up their first points at this year's FIFA World Cup in Qatar with a thrilling 3-2 win, thanks to two goals from Mohammed Kudus and another from Mohammed Salisu, but it is the reaction of a jubilant fan that has caught the attention of the internet.

A video of the incident has had more than 4.5 million views since being posted on social media.

It shows the scenes after a Ghana goal, with three Korean fans looking disconsolate among celebrating Ghana supporters, with one in particular making sure that they knew who was winning.

He is seen gesticulating and shouting towards the South Korea fans before holding up a scarf close to their faces and exclaiming: "We can win this tournament!"

The antics of the Black Stars supporter did not seem to provoke the South Korea fans, with one looking close to tears while another smiled awkwardly.

A third fan gave the Ghana fan a thumbs up.

His celebration divided opinion online with many enjoying his jubilation, while others thought that it was "disrespectful" to be in the faces of rival supporters.

One person pointed out on Twitter: "Very classy huh? So not nice. Very disrespectful. You in my hood it be some fighting words. Karma will catch up to that kind of behavior. Nevertheless, that was a good game. Congratulations to Ghana."

It was little wonder that the Ghana fan was so happy though, as this was the Black Stars' first win at the World Cup since they beat the United States after extra-time in the round of 16 in 2010.

The victory means that another in their final group game, against Uruguay on Friday, will see the African side through to the knockout stage of the tournament.

Match-winner Kudus, speaking after the win, told SPORTbible: "It's a good feeling. We wanted the three points and we got them.

"Everyone was absolutely on top of their game today. They came back to 2-2, we had to come up with more energy and it happened.

"I want to thank all my teammates, it's a team game and they all played a part in my performance. The cross-in from Jordan [Ayew] and the cut-back from Iñaki [Williams]. Big up to everyone because everyone played a part."

Speaking about the crucial game against Uruguay he added: "We're fully confident. We came in with the same mentality, we'll go in with 100 percent."
