The 81st Golden Globes saw the year start with some new award winners and meme-worthy content after Taylor Swift was on the receiving end of an ill-landing joke.
Comedian Jo Koy hosted the recent ceremony somewhat last minute, stepping in ON two weeks' notice, a fact he has attributed to why some of his jokes didn't land.
In his monologue, he took comedic shots at Swift and Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement-winning film Barbie, among others present at the ceremony.
Since Sunday, when the awards happened, Koy's hosting skills and jokes have been a talking point online, and they made their way to ABC and The View on Monday.

The View panelist Whoopi Goldberg shared her thoughts on the matter while a clip of the moment where Swift just looked unimpressed at Koy's NFL remark aired.
The video in question had the host popping the joke: "The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift. I swear."
Swift looked back deadpan while she sipped her drink, which has been a huge topic of debate as to whether she should have laughed just to save the moment or do what she did.
Goldberg, who has hosted the Oscars several times, said it was a "rough room" for Koy and added: "These gigs, these hosting gigs are brutal. They're just brutal. If you don't know the room, if you've not been in these rooms before, and you're sort of thrust out there, it's hit or miss."
Pulling on her past experience to show that she herself had some dire comedy moments: "I don't know whether it was the room or I don't know whether it was the jokes, I didn't get to see it, but I do know that he's as good as it gets when it comes to stand-ups. It's not an easy gig. If you read any of the reviews of some of the gigs that I've had, where they just wished me into the cornfields, die on the vine, it's not an easy gig."
Fellow panelist Sara Haines admitted that she was a fan of Koy and his humor and said: "What bothers me more in watching this is, get a sense of humor, because we need to protect these national treasures called our comedians because life needs them."
Ana Navarro did briefly share her opposing view that Koy "wasn't funny" for her.
The talk show panel's reaction to Swift has seen social media users blast the show for being "outdated" and call for it to be canceled.
In support of Swift, one fan on X, formerly Twitter, said: "Ok, wow. Let's say it together: 'Women don't need to smile to make men feel better about their unfunny jokes.'"

Another added: "Woman don't have to sit back and smile when they're disrespected. I'm glad she didn't. She owes him nothing."
"I wish The View hosts would get canceled and just shut up. They're all so annoying," a third contributed.
The remarks kept pouring in: "The view is just so dated and irrelevant at this point. Taylor doesn't have to smile if she doesn't like the joke. She didn't throw a tantrum or even say anything about it. But why is a woman teaching that other women have to smile when men upset them or make them uncomfortable."
Other statements thrown at The View panel include: "Who cares about those old hags?", "When no reaction is seen as a reaction. Who watches The View anymore anyway," and "The View co-hosts really should learn to stop talking."
An onlooker joked: "Something tells me Taylor or Travis will never be guests on this show."
