An 11-year-old YouTube video recently resurfaced after TikToker @mycinema35 shared the footage with their followers. The video claims to capture a ghost watching the fireworks display at Disneyland.

Of course, not everyone is convinced that the figure in the video is supernatural, but it wouldn't be the first time someone claimed to see a ghost at the infamous park.

"Scare easily? Keep scrolling," Cinema Guy said at the beginning of the video. "But if you're still here I want to show you something creepy."

The video, originally posted by user danloganify, captures Disneyland's firework display, but when the guest pans the camera to the castle, a shadowy human-like figure is seen standing near the castle wall. Depending on how an individual looks at it, the figure can either appear to be standing atop the wall or behind it. However, if the figure were standing behind the wall, it would have to be enormous to be visible.

To ensure all viewers could clearly see the figure, Cinema Guy paused the portion of the video where the figure appears and zoomed in on it.

According to Snopes, several YouTube commenters claimed that the figure was a Disney employee dressed in a camouflaged suit made visible by the fireworks. Though it's not known for certain if the figure is a cast member, those at Snopes believe that the figure is more than likely someone responsible for overseeing the show.

However, the video's creator isn't alone in thinking they've spotted a ghost at the park. In fact, Disneyland is home to several ghost stories.

A former cast member named Darrold Wagner told SFGate that Disneyland Railroad has a ghost train. "Late at night," he said, "a train would show on the board, and the whistle would blow, even though there was no train out there." He told the outlet that he and his fellow cast members would refer to the ghost train as "Walt's train."

Popular Disney blog Inside The Magic reports that various cast members claim to have seen a ghost known as "the man with the cane" on the Haunted Mansion ride.

"The story goes that he can be seen in the area between the offload and on load points in the Haunted Mansion," said one Reddit user via Inside The Magic. "They say that he is sitting alone in the buggy, holding a cane on his lap, and staring straight forward."

A few other myths claim that parts of the park are haunted by Disney guests who reportedly died on the property.

According to The Orange County Register, the Matterhorn and The People Mover are haunted by guests who died whilst on the rides. And Rivers of America is thought to be haunted by the ghosts of two young brothers who died in an attempt to escape Tom Sawyer's Island. "Cast members have seen a ghost rippling the water," said the outlet.

So, if the figure watching the fireworks display truly is a ghost, then it is one of many that is said to be haunting the property.
