She's the best-selling female artist of all time, but even Madonna isn't immune to trolling online.

"The Queen of Pop" is on the North American leg of her The Celebration Tour, which commemorates the 65-year-old's four-decade music career.

Despite rave reviews from critics and fans, a clip of Madonna on stage has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.

While performing her 1998 hit "Ray of Light," the singer—decked out in a reflective skin-tight body suit and futuristic sunglasses—danced in a moving glass box, using a pole for support as the platform circled the venue.

However, someone cropped out the box in a clip of the performance, which just showed Madonna gripping the pole behind her. The video went viral and was shared by multiple people on X, formerly Twitter, who mocked the Grammy winner.

"I'm glad to see that Madonna has a grab bar so she doesn't fall," said Jebra Faushay.

"Might be time to call it a day. Just embarrassing," said @Omnicentrist.

"This is what happens when you're irrelevant and thirsty," wrote Stew.

"I watched her perform Like a Virgin on MTV like 172 years ago. What is she doing??" asked @joedirt5. "Retire already you old hag."

"This Thing used to be known as Madonna," said @magdalenechapel. "The first time we've seen a combination of demon possession and a geriatric grab rail. Share this as a warning to all who mock God!"

However, the music legend had plenty of fans coming to her defense, with @Delirious776 writing: "Madonna's in better shape at 65 than majority of the world's population."

"Madonna is the undisputed Queen of Pop. After 40 years, if you don't get it, there's really nothing more to say," said @NilBerlin.

"Just two weeks ago, she gave the best concert performance I have ever seen," said @MisterD80.

"An Icon, a survivor - we, the ones who desperately need hope, love her so much cause Madonna's ability to get stronger after each hit and never give up and forget who she was is admirable, brave," said @MadonnaUltimate.

"Madonna enjoying her glorious Caribbean holiday + trending on Twitter for the millionth time thanks to white conservative inbreds & hillbillies who are triggered by her Ray of Light performance," commented KB, alongside a gif of a smiling woman on a speedboat.

Newsweek has reached out to Madonna for comment via email.

Madonna is currently vacationing on the Caribbean island of St. Barts, where she rang in the new year with her six children Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 17, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere.

The pop icon shared a snap of herself enjoying a drink, along with photos of her family on a speedboat trip and a picture with her long-time pal, fashion designer Stella McCartney.

This isn't the first time Madonna has been criticized for aging in the public eye. Social media users accused the singer of undergoing cosmetic surgery and mocked her outfit after her appearance at the Grammy Awards in February 2023 . Madonna hit back at the haters, blasting their "ageism and misogyny."

"Once again I am caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny That permeates the world we live in," Madonna wrote on Instagram.

"A world that refuses to celebrate women past the age of 45. And feels the need to punish her If she continues to be strong willed, hard-working and adventurous," she said.
