A visually impaired fourth-grader in Texas has recently gone viral on TikTok for befriending her bus driver. The adorable videos posted by her mother during the first week of school have the internet swooning.

As reported by Fox 4 News, A'dalynn Williams is a 9-year-old, fourth-grade student at Carver Elementary School. Her mother Ambrea (@ambrea2504) drove A'dalynn to school for years; however, the news channel reports that A'dalynn decided she wanted to take the bus this year.

Her mom recorded the sweet moment her daughter got onto the bus for the first time and shared the video with her TikTok followers. The video, posted with the caption, "Y'all just don't know how proud I am," has received nearly two million views and almost 300,000 likes.

The video's narrator starts by saying: "My daughter is visually impaired, and today was her first time getting on the bus by herself."

Meanwhile, the video shows A'dalynn walking towards the bus. At first, she misses the door and walks to the front of the bus, but she very quickly finds the door and walks on up.

"She did it and I am so proud of her," the narrator concludes as A'dalynn makes her way up the steps.

Naturally, people online loved the video.

"Why am I crying?" asked one commenter. "I'm so proud of her like she's my child. Great accomplishment!!"

"So proud of you BOTH," said another. "SUCH A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY!!!!!"

The next day, Ambrea posted a follow-up video to show the adorable friendship her daughter had formed with her bus driver, Mr. Ryan.

The video captioned, "Part 2 getting off the bus," shows Mr. Ryan walking with A'dalynn to the front door. It's raining outside, so he holds an umbrella for the both of them as they walk, talk and laugh.

She slips a bit as she walks up the stairs, and lets out a scream followed by a laugh.

"I'm clumsy," A'dalynn can be heard saying in the video.

"I'm clumsy, too," Mr. Ryan replies. "Two clumsy people can't walk together."

The video's captions read: "Her bus driver is the best."

Already, the video has received more than 230,000 views. Commenters, again, loved the video.

"This made me cry, there [are] not many bus drivers like him out there." said one commenter. "He's amazing."

"Bus driver of the year," commented another. "This makes my heart melt."

According to Fox 4 News, riding the bus is the best part of A'dalynn's day.

In response to all the love and support they'd received, Ambrea posted a video of A'dalynn thanking their TikTok commenters. She also talked more about her friendship with Mr. Ryan.

"Hey guys, it's Addy here," she says as she launches into a brief story about the bug bites on her forehead.

"Anyways, thank you all for the support and love. Me and Mr. Ryan really appreciated it," she says.

"Mr. Ryan is my best, best bus driver EVER. He's like a friend to me, because I don't have many friends in the school, but it's OK because I just like to make people happy in the world."

She also expressed that her mom's followers should "stick around" because she plans on accomplishing a lot in her life.

"I really love to sing, and I will probably be singing songs for you," she explains while also sharing that she hopes to be a contestant on The Voice someday.

"Thank you for getting me on the news, and I promise I'll sing a song for you, maybe tomorrow!"

Newsweek reached out to Ambrea for comment.
