With the app BeReal trending everywhere on the internet, some celebrities have shared their BeReal moment on social media.
BeReal is a French app that gained popularity this year, allowing users to add their friends in order to see users' random moments of the day. Users are instructed to post at the same time each day when notified by the app. However, the app will tell users when to post, as it comes at a different time each day. When users don't make it on time, the app tells you that they "posted late."
The only way to see your friend's BeReals is if you post one yourself. When uploading a BeReal, it gives you two minutes to take a picture of whatever you're doing. Be sure to smile, as it also takes a picture using your front-facing camera. When the picture is taken, it shows the photo of your subject, as well as the picture of yourself in the upper- left corner.

You can discover other people's BeReal moments under the Discover page as well as send your own reactions to your friend's BeReals, which is called a "RealMoji."
As stated in the description on the app stores, BeReal won't make you waste time and that it's life, real life, and this life without filters.
"Love the whole idea of bereal! It's so refreshing to see my friends share their not so Instagram-able parts of their days and strip away all of the unrealistic expectations social media has put on us all," one BeReal user wrote in the reviews on the Apple App Store.
With the app trending on social media, celebrities have also been participating. Newsweek has gathered some of the BeReals that celebrities have shared.
