Peter Weber addressed the White Lives Matter apparel campaign controversy surrounding The Bachelor contestant Victoria Fuller in two interviews this week.
On Thursday, Weber told Entertainment Tonight that there's "no defending" the behavior. "I, in no way, support that, obviously, and I hope she has a chance to address the public and make things right," he explained.
Weber continued. "I, in no way, support that type of campaign, and I also do feel like, though, it wouldn't be appropriate for me right now to speak too much on that without giving her a chance to address the public and make an actual statement."
He also said he felt his previous comments on the situation may have been taken out of context and that he does not support the campaign or Fuller's choice to model for a controversial brand. Entertainment Tonight reported that the conversation was filmed on Wednesday.

In a separate conversation with BUILD Series on Wednesday, Weber claimed he wouldn't say much. "Just being completely honest, I can't really speak too much on it, because I don't really know many facts about the whole situation," he said.
He continued, "All I can speak on is the time I was able to spend with Victoria throughout this experience. I truly enjoyed my experience with her." "I really feel like she's, you know, a good person and she's got a lot of endearing qualities."
Weber also said he hopes "people can form their opinion on her based on what they see between the two of us and her time on the show," and that "no one is perfect."
On Monday, Cosmopolitan announced it would pull a magazine cover that featured Fuller and Weber after learning of her modeling controversy. This all started when photos of Fuller modeling the controversial apparel for a fishing company, We Love Marlins, surfaced online. Fuller addressed the controversy last month on Instagram, according to E! News.
"The company 'We Love Marlins' is in support of catching white, blue & black marlins and releasing them back into the wild," Fuller wrote. "In regards to a sensitive topic, I come from a very diverse background & am in support of all races! Virginia Beach is a VERY large fishing town where marlin tournaments are held every year! Glad to clear this up."
She apologized for offending anyone. "I apologize immensely," she wrote in an added comment. She seemingly pointed at the Black Lives Matter movement. "It was never my intention to lessen this matter."
