Casey Anthony skyrocketed to infamy following the 2008 killing of her 2-year-old daughter. Now, she's in the news once more as star of the three-part Peacock docuseries Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies.
The documentary's release has prompted many viewers to ask: "Where is Casey Anthony now?"
Anthony was accused of murdering her daughter, Caylee, but was ultimately acquitted of that crime in 2011. Even still, many rubberneckers became convinced of her guilt throughout her highly publicized trial.
Peacock has faced criticism for releasing the docuseries, which released this Tuesday, and for giving Anthony a platform to tell her side of events. In it, the 36-year-old even blames her own father for Caylee's death.
Anthony's name has been cleared of her daughter's murder in the eyes of the law, but many are still curious about her current whereabouts.

Where Is Casey Anthony Now 2022?
Following her trial, Anthony forged a career related to law. In addition to accounting work, she serves as a legal assistant to her defense team's former lead investigator, Patrick J. McKenna, who was reportedly in the family's home on the day that Caylee's body was found, according to Buzzfeed.
Anthony reportedly helps McKenna with investigative work, including conducting social media searches. She told the Associated Press in an article published in 2017 that she enjoys her work.
"I love the fact that I have a unique perspective and I get a chance to do for other people what so many others have done for me," Casey said at the time. She also reportedly stated that she aspires to serve on a defense team and receive her private investigator's license.
After the trial concluded in 2011, McKenna allowed Anthony to stay at his home in South Florida. There, she lived with the investigator and his family "for the first few years of her posttrial life," per Buzzfeed.
In addition to McKenna, Anthony has maintained relationships with other members of her defense team, such as attorneys and forensic experts.
"It's a small life, you know," Dean said of the way that Anthony lives these days, according to Buzzfeed. "She has a close friend, she has the people she trusts."
As for Anthony's parents, Parade noted that they are still living in Florida as well. Her father, George, has reportedly made attempts to reconcile with his estranged daughter, to which she hasn't been receptive. Meanwhile, her mother Cindy is purportedly often "angry" over the trauma that the family has had to endure.
