Bader Shammas and Lindsay Lohan met in Dubai, where they both live. Lohan has been living there for nine years.

Shammas has featured often on Lohan's Instagram, but his account has remained private, leaving fans of Lohan wanting to know everything about her man.

Shammas is from Kuwait and studied engineering and finance in the U.S.

Today, he is a financier and is the assistant vice president at Credit Issue in Dubai, details Grazia.

Lohan dropped the news she was married alongside a photo of her and Shammas smiling at the camera, which she shared on Instagram with her 11 million followers.

She wrote alongside the image: "I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. Every woman should feel like this every day."

Lohan had announced their engagement almost a year ago, writing alongside an image of her and Shammas smiling as she sported a sparkling diamond on her ring finger.

She wrote: "My love. My life. My family. My future. 11.11.21."

The married couple currently still reside in Dubai together.

Speaking to Extra in February, Lohan teased some details about her upcoming nuptials.

She shared: "I'm more low-key. Even on my birthday, I want to make sure everyone else is good and then I can be okay. So I'll be more like that."

Lohan added: "I've already started talking to a friend of mine about the dress. But I want to do things right and I want to pace everything. But it's an exciting time. I'm very girly, so..."
