Season 8 of The Masked Singer has entered Week 4 and the competition is seriously heating up.

Already, seven celebrities have been unmasked, with another two to be revealed on Wednesday's show.

Tonight, Maize will make her debut performance on The Masked Singer, taking on Andrew Lloyd Webber week.

One fan favorite this year is the brand-new character Maize, and fans are convinced they know which celebrity is singing in disguise.

Newsweek has everything you need to know.

Who Is Maize on 'The Masked Singer'?

Maize is one of the exclusive new characters appearing on Season 8 of The Masked Singer.

The celebrity under the eye-catching costume, complete with bright yellow corn, a stylish green dress and an orange headpiece makes her performance debut on Wednesday's show, where they will perform a hit from one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals.

Not only will Maize be hoping to impress the audience and judges, but they will also have to win over the heart of Andrew Lloyd Webber himself who will be performing on the show and serving as a panelist.

Just who is under the mask remains unknown for now, but that has not stopped fans from making guesses.

One of the biggest clues revealed about Maize on The Masked Singer to have been revealed so far is her love for corn and butter.

In a Mask-Ray video where Maize undergoes an X-ray, a cube of butter flashes across the screen with the words "CLUE DETECTED!!!"

As a result, some fans have been led to suspect veteran chef Paula brand-new could be under the brand-new mask, simply because she is well known for using butter in the majority of her recipes when appearing on cooking shows.

Deen even has her own website with a section titled "Everything's Better With Butter."

Adding fuel to the fire, The Masked Singer executive producer Craig Plestis recently told Entertainment Weekly that this season there is a "real reason" each celebrity has been matched to their costume.

But other The Masked Singer fans suspect actress Melora Hardin could be under the Maize costume.

Hardin is best known for playing Jan in the U.S. version of The Office and Jacqueline in The Bold Type.

Her performance talents are no secret, since she recently competed on Season 30 of Dancing With the Stars.

Fans of The Office will also know Hardin has a gorgeous singing voice from the much-loved episode where she sings "Son of a Preacher Man" to her newborn baby Astrid.

Hopefully, Maize will survive the sing-off this evening and fans will be offered a new batch of clues to keep the guessing game going.

The celebrities to be revealed on The Masked Singer so far are:

  • Daymond John as Fortune Teller
  • William Shatner as Knight
  • Eric Idle as Hedgehog
  • Chris Kirkpatrick as Hummingbird
  • Jeff Dunham as Pi-Rat
  • Montell Jordan as Panther
  • The Brady Bunch Brothers as Mummies

Newsweek has contacted Deen and Hardin for comment.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
