It seems like this season of The Bachelor is taking forever—and we haven't even gotten to the good stuff yet. So far, Season 25 has been stuck in a mess of petty, early-show drama, and viewers might be looking for some solace, a sign that there's true love on the horizon.
Thankfully, it looks like there is. Matt James is expected to have a lovely finale with one, final woman whom he's supposedly still in a relationship with.
In recent seasons, the ending hasn't been so clear. Take Peter Weber's Bachelor season, for example. Throughout 2020, Weber dated three women from his season, one of whom he was briefly engaged to. Turns out, though, that none of the choices worked in the long run. So, needless to say, it was tough to really get a read on how Weber's story was going to play out.
But thus far, James' season has been the opposite. There's drama among the girls, sure, but we all know that's probably just the work of selective editing and crafty producers. One woman may soon begin to stand out from the rest, though, as the show moves forward—and eventually, she will reportedly win James' heart.

Rachael Kirkconnell is in a post-show relationship with James and did accept his final rose, according to spoilers from Reality Steve. How, exactly, the couple's relationship (reportedly) got to that point is still unclear. Unlike seasons past, there are no week-by-week spoilers; we've just got intel about the season's final outcome.
Kirkconnell is a 24-year-old graphic designer from Georgia. According to her Bachelor bio, she's a "southern sweetheart." She's among the women that viewers are already keeping an eye on, but at this point in the season, another woman has Bachelor Nation's hearts.
Abigail Heringer, the first deaf contestant on the series, is the clear frontrunner as far as viewers are concerned. She already has a list of followers begging ABC to make her the next Bachelorette, should James break up with her. And given the current spoilers that Kirkconnell will end up with James' final rose, it seems very possible that Heringer will hold the roses herself come summertime. We're crossing our fingers for the first hearing-impaired Bachelorette, too.
For now, though, we'll continue to focus on James' love story. As things get really competitive over the coming weeks, fans can take comfort in the possibility that James might have found his bride on this season of The Bachelor.
