A wife has left internet users in hysterics after pranking her husband by saying his favorite phrases in a pretend phone call in a hilarious viral video.
Stacey, from the United States, played a joke on her husband Justin by faking a phone call in which she pretended to be talking about all his favorite things, including Home Depot, fishing and beers.
The TikTok trend is normally done on dogs by their owners, who excite their animals by saying their favorite words on a fake call, and users were delighted the joke appeared to work on Stacey's husband.
In a clip, which gathered over one million views and 121,000 likes, Stacey can be seen pretending to use her phone while Justin listens to the conversation—finally asking who she's talking to after his wife mentions stopping to buy beers.
The footage shows Stacey saying: "I was thinking, after you come pick me up, the first thing we could do is go to Home Depot. I'm pretty sure we can get everything there, and then we can go straight to the lake and fish there. I think we'll have a good time."
Despite Justin having sat silently watching, when his wife asked on the phone: "Will you stop and get the beers?" he exasperatedly questioned her: "Who are you talking to?!"
The amusing footage racked up nearly 1,000 comments, with one user saying: "So funny how it actually worked the exact way the ones on dogs work."
Another wrote: "The way his hands shook with confusion and maybe a little annoyance when you mentioned fishing. Go fishing with him right now! Bring the beer."

"You did not do this dog trick with your husband hahaha'," said another.
A third commented: "The nerve! Making a Home Depot date complete with fishing and beers without him. The way he hit a different octave when he said "WHO YOU TALKING TO!?"
"It is not lost on me that this trend started for the doggos and has morphed into husbands," wrote another amused user.
The couple have racked up 79,200 followers and nearly four million likes on TikTok sharing videos of their day-to-day life, including funny challenges, viral dances and clips pulling pranks on each other.
One popular video showed a male member of the family attempting to carry out every tasks while wearing fake nails, racking up a massive ten million views and nearly two million likes on the app.
