A fussy canine connoisseur of treat time has left people in stitches after he refused a pup cup that didn't meet his specific preferences.
In a viral video shared by Amanda Gonzalez, with the username @amandamarie_78 on TikTok four days ago, her dog Mr. Wiggles showcases some serious attitude when his pup cup treat isn't from the brand he is used to.
"He started being picky about five years ago when his human siblings started slowly moving out of the home and into adulthood," Gonzalez told Newsweek.
In footage that has been viewed more than 1.6 million times, Mr. Wiggles, an 11-year-old schnauzer-terrier mix, refuses a pup cup complete with dog-biscuit garnish. Alongside the video, the owner joked: "Is anyone else's dog human too?"
As the pup cup appears, Mr. Wiggles is so unimpressed that he won't even glance at the cup. Gonzalez quickly realized the source of her dog's discontent. "We're not going to Starbucks," she tells her picky pet in the video.

However, before long, the footage jumps to the car pulling up to the Starbucks drive-through. Despite her earlier assertion, Gonzalez places an order for a second pup cup, undoubtedly hoping to appease her discerning dog.
Sure enough, the moment the preferred pup cup is presented to Mr. Wiggles, his demeanor shifts dramatically. With tail wagging and enthusiasm, he happily indulges in the treat.
What Is a Pup Cup?
A pup cup is a treat designed for dogs sold by coffee shops and fast-food chains. Often a small cup of whipped cream or soft-serve ice cream, they are sometimes garnished with sprinkles or dog biscuits. Some establishments even offer frozen-yogurt versions or special dog flavors of the pup cup.
Of course, like all treats, they should be given in moderation to avoid any potential weight gain or nutritional imbalance.
"Starbucks owe the pup a lifetime of pup cups... best advertising," wrote one TikTok viewer after seeing Mr. Wiggles' reaction to the treats.
Another posted, "Ma'am your dog is bougie," while one viewer commented: "They don't pay no bills, but be picky."
But there is a good reason that Mr. Wiggles gets the extra special treatment that he does. Gonzalez said: "We are treating like he's human because he has always been protective of us. We found out he lived in the animal shelter for a whole year before anyone adopted him and wanted to make sure he was always treated like a little prince. He has now turned into the king of the castle."
"This dog is treated better than me," posted one commenter, while another viewer wrote: "My theory... They aren't on this earth long enough so make the time they are here AMAZING."
