A woman went viral after discovering a baby goat and realizing that her female goat must have been pregnant without her knowing.

Cassie Mackiewicz, or @cmack1054, published the TikTok on Wednesday where it amassed more than 8.2 million views and nearly 13,000 comments, many from users joking about the parent goats' nonchalant attitude and Mackiewicz's excitement.

Goats are typically pregnant for about 150 days, or nearly five months, and can have anywhere between one and five kids during one pregnancy. However, it is more common for goats to have twins than larger sets of multiples.

In the video captioned, "I apologize for my obnoxious voice but I CAME HOME TO A BABY GOAT," Mackiewicz walked up to her two adult goats so she could feed them.

While she walked toward the enclosure, she saw a tiny goat standing behind two adult goats.

"This is insane," she said as she unlatched the door to open the enclosure. "I literally just came home."

When she unlatched the door, the two adults ran outside and she found the baby with white ears and a brown body trying to follow her parents.

"I literally haven't been home all day I just came back to feed them," she said as she pet the newborn. "This is what I found! Oh my god, hi baby. Oh my god, it's a little baby Ragnar."

As Mackiewicz watched, the baby goat began to cry, or bleat, and both her parents–named Astrid and Ragnar–ran back toward her.

"She was pregnant!" she said looking at the all-white goat followed by an all-brown Billy goat. "Hi mama you did so good! That's your baby? Look at you guys."

Mackiewicz then showed the baby bleating loudly as she stood up and wagged her tail.

In a follow-up video, Mackiewicz clarified that although she posted the TikTok Wednesday, the baby goat was actually born on Sunday. She also said she did not know her goat was pregnant even though she was looking out for all the signs and symptoms.

"She did not get big," she said. "I mean I've seen pregnant goats and they're like massive. She did not get big at all. She gave me no signs of pregnancy whatsoever."

Other signs of a pregnant doe include a change in personality, a swelling utter, and decreased milk production but increased appetite.

Thousands of users commented on the video, with many cracking jokes about the baby goat and Mackiewicz not knowing her female goat was pregnant.

"I love how mom and dad just dipped as soon as you opened the gate," one user commented.

"They both run away from it like they're surprised too," another wrote.

"You got that buy two get one free deal," another joked.

"I have literally NEVER came home to a baby goat," another user commented. "Or any goat for that matter. I'm clearly doing life wrong.
