Woman's Landlord Thinks House Is On Fire Due to TV Display in Viral Video

Playing a crackling fire on your TV screen to give your room a festive vibe can lead to confusion, as one woman on TikTok recently discovered.

In the video, which was posted to the app by an account called Awandance, you can see a close up of a television that's playing footage of a fireplace.

Text overlaying the clip, reads: "Our landlord just texted us a video saying omg [oh my god] the fireplace on your tv makes it look like the building is on fire."

The camera then cuts to a shot from the street, where it indeed looks like there is a fire ablaze in the second-floor room.
