A woman has been caught on camera going on a racist tirade against an Asian drugstore employee for "speaking Chinese" in front of her.
The white woman was filmed berating the employee at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Burnaby in British Columbia, Canada, on Monday.
The incident was filmed and posted on Facebook by Allen Tseng, who described the irate woman as "extremely rude and racist."
The woman, who has not been identified, is seen pointing her finger at the female employee and calling her "rude as f***" for speaking a foreign language.
"Shut up. Speak English in Canada," she is heard telling the employee, who is wearing a blue shirt. "Shut up. You're rude, you are rude. Go somewhere else," she added.

The woman, who was accompanied by a young boy, is then seen asking a male employee how she can complain about the female employee.
Tseng wrote on Facebook that he decided to post the video on social media to show the woman there are consequences to her behavior.
"I just want to put this lady on blast for being extremely rude and racist," he said.
"And hopefully show her there's consequences to this type of behavior. It's sad to see this sort of racism still in 2019 and in Greater Vancouver, BC, and Canada."
Tseng told the Vancouver Sun that he didn't see what prompted the woman's tirade, but said the employee who was targeted had been trying to help the woman.
"The Asian lady was trying to help. She was asked to help by [a manager], but they spoke to each other in their own native tongue and that's when the misunderstanding happened," Tseng told the newspaper.
He added that the store's staff were left shaken by the incident.
"It made me feel sad for the employees that they had to be verbally harassed like that," Tseng added.
Catherine Thomas, a spokeswoman for Loblaw Canada, which owns Shoppers Drug Mart, told Newsweek that the company has contacted the store in Burnaby to offer additional resources to staff if needed.
"The incident that took place on Monday was both disappointing and unacceptable, and has absolutely no place in our stores," she said.
"We believe fully in two-way respect between our employees and our customers and were appalled to see that behavior. We have been in touch with the store, and have offered additional resources and support where required."
