After she discovered her late grandmother's scrapbook of boyfriends, TikTok user Lauren Semar racked up views showing her romantic endeavors—2 million to be exact.

Semar's grandmother, Mary Lee, was a high school senior in California in 1948. On the second anniversary of Mary Lee's death, her granddaughter shared online a little about her life, and the men along the way.

"My Grandma had macular degeneration towards the end of her life, so she gave me the scrapbook a few years ago because she couldn't see the photos anymore," Semar told Newsweek via email.

"When she gave it to me, I went through it with her and I added my own notes (you can see my atrocious handwriting a little bit in the TikTok). Of course, I was very impressed with the roster of guys she dated."

In the video, Semar said: "I found my grandmother's high school scrapbook.

"And I would like to share with you all of the extremely hot, smoking hot men, probably dead now, she used to date, because oh my god."

  • First, there was Jim Dobbs: "I don't know much about him other than he was calling her baby, so hello," she explained as she showed one of his letters addressed to her grandmother.
  • Then there was Doug Pounds: "I think his name says it all." Dave Rodgers followed, prompting Semar to ask: "Why aren't you my grandpa? Because I would have been 18 million times hotter."
  • And then there was Bob. "So I've got one of her old dance cards - 'The Stars Will Remember.' She graduated '48 so it looks like senior year. The juniors are putting on this dance for the seniors. She went with Bob," said Semar. "Bob, you do not look like a teenager, sir, you look like an adult man...well underneath that suit, this is what Bob looks like."
  • An unknown man, who looked like Rock Hudson to Semar, was next in line, along with Wayne Park and then Guy Justo, who owned a furniture store.

"She didn't speak about them in-depth, Semar said. "She'd tell me what jobs they went on to do if she knew. She could, however, tell me where she got every outfit she wore and what colors they were! I loved that because I could imagine the scenes in the photos more clearly.

"Jim Dobbs' granddaughter reached out to me today and we're trying to figure out a time to meet up! I've had nephews and neighbor's of these guys comment on the video and they all confirmed the men were all handsome in real life! The scrapbook was from 1948, so it's not surprising that the major of the men have passed. I don't know about nameless hottie....maybe he's still kickin'!"

The video can also be seen in full here.

Semar might wish Bob was her grandfather, but who is the real one? She revealed him in a follow-up video and explained that she wasn't exactly fond of him.

"Okay, you're gonna understand why I'm so frustrated. Why these guys who were smoking hot are not my grandpa...because this man in the photo is my grandpa," she said.

Semar's grandparents were together for just two years, before she remarried twice, ending with a man named Randall.

"In '71 she married Randall Rankin," she said. "He was my step-grandpa. He was really, really wonderful. He might not have been a super smoking hot babe when she married him, but I didn't care. He was great."

With over two million views on the original video, Semar's grandma's scrapbook has acted as a time portal for many, with users entertained by it all.

"Grandma had strong game! I'm so impressed," commented one user.

"Ain't no scrapbook! That's her black book," wrote another.

"We need to track down these random hot dudes to see what became of all of them," added one viewer

Semar said of her grandmother: "She was my best friend, so I knew I was going to be sad that day but wanted to do something fun that she would have gotten a kick out of as well. She would be so tickled that her scrapbook is so popular. I hope this gets people to speak with their grandparents and go through their own family history.

"You never know what fun stories you'll find..or photos of hot dudes!" she added.
