A woman has been slammed online after telling her brother-in-law that he and his wife had "months to abort" her healthy nephew, as she vented her dislike of children.

The husband, 30, shared his frustration at his sister-in-law's attitude to Reddit's popular Am I The A**hole forum, under the username Inallyfedup002.

He revealed he and his wife, 32, were letting her younger sister, 24, stay with them, as she's in college and only had a temporary lease.

But his patience wore thin over her attitude towards their 10-month-old son, which started when they announced their pregnancy.

Her response was: "eww that's so gross," which he admitted "soured" the joyous moment.

And she was furious when the baby was born as well, as the dad said: "After our son was born she threw a fit because my in-laws sent her a couple of pics and she called my wife asking her to tell their parents not to send her anything because not everyone cares about babies.

"We weren't the ones who sent it to her but still mad at us for 'shoving our baby down her throat.'"

Her attitude worsened when she moved in, as the dad continued: "If my son cries she loudly says 'oh my god shut him up see this is why- yada yada won't have kids, etc.'

"'He's so annoying, he's so needy,' makes dramatic gagging noises when we're feeding him fruits and tells us to take him somewhere else for that."

But things boiled over recently, as he continued: "Anything my son does she always has to say something. I don't appreciate that negativity towards my child. Earlier my son hit his head and started crying.

"I calmed him down after a minute, w/o asking for her opinion she says you guys had months to abort, you did this to yourselves. So I snapped at her.

"That if she hates babies so much then she's welcome to get the hell out of my house, don't understand what deep hate she has for kids but maybe get some therapy because it's one thing to not like them, it's another to always wanna make it known how much you despise them."

While the man didn't specify where he was based, the issue of abortions has been hotly debated over the last few months with the passing of the Texas law, Senate Bill (SB) 8, which effectively bans terminations after the six-week mark.

SB 8 bill states: "A physician may not knowingly perform or induce an abortion ... if the physician detect[s] a fetal heartbeat."

The controversial law, which came into effect on September 1, essentially overturns the landmark Roe vs Wade Supreme Court ruling, in 1973, which guarantees a woman's right to access abortions, without government interference.

This graph below, provided by Statista, shows the number of legal abortions in the US, per 1,000 women, from 1984 to 2018.

The dad continued to rage he was tired of the 24-year-old's rants, all the while eating their food for free while complaining about their son.

And she told her parents about the remark, which caused more friction. He continued: "She didn't say anything after but told my wife. Then their parents.

"And reason they think I was a jerk is because I threatened her living situation when she wouldn't have any place to go right now and we're her only option.

"My wife agrees with me which triggered an argument with her parents. I get she's still young and dumb so that's why I'm asking if I'm TA [the a**hole.]"

His post has amassed more than 12,000 upvotes since being posted on Wednesday, and can be read here, with the majority of people thinking the sister should move out.

QCr8onQ wrote: "If parents condone SIL's behavior and upset that OP is maintaining reasonable living standards... then in-laws can take SIL or pay for her hotel."

BOSSBABY33 raged: "Yeah she is a free loader but acts like she rules the house ask your in-laws to deal with it, Being childfree is their choice but she acting like an entitled br*t."

Blackstar1401 said: "I would reply back offering to drop SIL at their houses if they think she needs free accommodations."

Elizabeth_Sparrow pointed out: "Honestly telling them they should have aborted, complaining about every little thing, I'd genuinely be concerned for their safety if this was my child. Sis sounds unhinged."

While Azazael added: "Telling someone they should have aborted their child in front of the child is weird, extremely rude, creepy, obnoxious... And additional adjectives that don't take away from the extent of each."
