WWE Raw returned to the U.S. after a trip to Saudi Arabia for the Crown Jewel showdown and it really was back with a bang at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

Once again it was a night of winners and even bigger losers, with Austin Theory going from being on top of the world to being out of money within two bouts.

Rollins Is Back, Back, Back

Seth Rollins began proceedings with his return, bringing him beaming into the ring.

The Judgment Day then arrived and Finn Bálor declared that he hadn't forgiven Rollins for injuring him during the first-ever universal title bout and that there was a grudge match to be had with a shot at the United States Championship included.

Before The Visionary had time to accept, The O.C. was in the ring and Rollins took this as his cue to leave and left the rival factions to have a standoff.

Mia Yim then attacked The Nightmare and the brawling began at ringside, but it was The O.C. who was left standing tall.

Women's WarGames Alignments

Damage CTRL, Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross stoked the fires ahead of the women's WarGames match in the Survivor Series.

It would seem that Cross will fight alongside Damage CTRL, so their opponents will have to find a fourth member for their team.

Austin Theory Cashes In

Austin Theory and Shelton Benjamin faced each other in the ring after they had promised to fight following a confrontation backstage.

Theory wanted to teach his rival a lesson in respect and Benjamin was a willing pupil as he had no match for Theory's expertise in the ring, though he tried to battle hard before the bout was brought to an end.

After raking Benjamin's eyes, Theory went for an A-Town Down to secure the win.

Rollins Returns and Theory Cashes Out

Rollins was the main event as he looked to defend his United States title.

Finn Bálor looked the likeliest candidate to challenge Rollins, but after Bobby Lashley took out Mustafa Ali backstage, he accepted the challenge himself and stepped into the ring.

There was no hanging about either as Lashley launched into an attack before Rollins was ready and soon the brawl was all around ringside, with Rollins being dumped onto every piece of furniture there was by the ring.

After Rollins was smashed through a table, WWE official Adam Pearce told Lashley to leave and Austin Theory seized the moment to throw down his challenge.

He walked out with the Money in the Bank briefcase and looked to cash-in on Rollins' predicament and take the United States Championship.

Unfortunately for Theory, though, just as it looked like he had Rollins pinned for the win, Lashley returned to pull the ref out of the ring before letting rip on Theory at ringside, leaving him a little worse for wear, before heading out of the Arena.

By now Rollins was back on his feet, ready to finish the job on Theory and retain his crown and leave his opponent wishing he hadn't handed in his money and gambled for the title.
