Xur has moved to a new location in Destiny 2 and, as per usual, he has completely refreshed his inventory. To help you find the travelling merchant in his latest spot, Newsweek has prepared the following guide.
For those who are new to Destiny 2, Xur is a nomadic vendor who moves around the game world on a regular basis and specializes in trading exotic items. Every Friday at 1 p.m. ET, he will appear in a different location where he will be selling brand-new gear for a limited time only.
Xur will not move until the following Tuesday, when (at 1 p.m. ET) Bungie resets Destiny 2. At this point, he will temporarily disappear from the game, and you will no longer be able to purchase any of his unique items.
Speaking of which, when Xur next returns, he will have replaced everything in his catalog with completely different stock. As such, you will only have four days (from Friday to Tuesday) to browse his inventory before his current wares are discontinued.
Where Is Xur in 'Destiny 2' for October 1–5
This week Xur can be found at the Watcher's Grave region in Nessus.
He will remain in this spot until Destiny 2 resets at 1 p.m. ET on October 5 . After this time has elapsed, you will not be able to speak with Xur again until October 8.
Exotic Items Available to Buy From Xur This Week
It is always worth perusing Xur's stock as there will often be rare equipment up for grabs. At the very least, there will be one exotic weapon and three exotic armor pieces (one for each of the game's three classes).
As of October 1, Xur is selling the following exotic gear:
- Hard Light (Exotic Auto Rifle)
- Sunbracers (Exotic Warlock Gauntlets)
- Shards of Galanor (Exotic Hunter Gauntlets)
- Crest of Alpha Lupi (Exotic Titan Chest Armor)
Generally speaking, Xur rotates between three regular haunts. He can either be found at the Tower Hanger, the Watcher's Grave region of Nessus, or the Winding Cove at EDZ.
Last week he was based at the Winding Cove, where he was selling the Merciless fusion rifle, the Shinobu's Vow hunter gauntlets, the Wormgod Caress titan gauntlets, and the Apotheosis Veil warlock helmet.
