Zac Efron and Jessica Alba have recently teamed up for several short trailers to promote Dubai Tourism.

Over the course of filming, the Hollywood duo appear to have become good friends off-screen, with Alba even managing to convince Efron to feature on her TikTok — and perform a dance routine.

In the video, which has racked over 12million views so far, Efron and Alba perform a routine to a Shayan remix of 'Don't Rush', originally performed by Young T & Bugsey, featuring Headie One.

She captioned the video: "That time in #Dubai I got #zacefron to do a #tiktok dance w me... while shooting movie trailers 4 #dubaitourism."

Also posting the entire TikTok on Instagram, Alba revealed the dance routine took her at least one hour to learn and Efron only two minutes.

The pair are perfectly in sync until the very end, when they break away from the synchronized routine and freestyle.

Naturally, as the video marks Efron's TikTok debut, thousands of fans have flocked to the comments section to share their delight.

One fan gushed: "I love Zac Efron. He just gets hotter and hotter."

A second made a hilarious High School Musical pun: "He's still got the music in him".

Others begged Alba to get Efron to set up a TikTok account of his own, and debated how recongizable Efron is in the clip: "It took me almost to the end of the video to realize it's Jessica and Zach", one user wrote, echoing the thoughts of many others.

However, many clapped back stating it was so obviously Alba and Efron dancing: "He literally looks the exact same to me? Are y'all okay?"

Alba then created a poll asking: "Should Honey & Troy make a movie together?" in reference to her 2003 dance-film Honey and Efron's Troy from Disney's High School Musical franchise. As expected, 95% of her followers who took part in the poll voted yes.

Jessica Alba is no stranger to TikTok, having shared hundreds of videos with her 7.1 million followers. From dance routines, cooking videos, and hilarious sketches, Alba has got the social media app completely covered.

For the past year, Alba and Efron have been working together in Dubai, but so far only official images and behind-the-scenes pictures and videos of the pair have been featured on Alba's Instagram.

The pair have been working together on six adverts for Dubai Tourism, which are set to be released over the next few months. Each advert imitates different movie genres, such as action-thrillers to romance, whilst also highlighting all that Dubai has to offer.

So far, two of the adverts are available. One follows Alba and Efron as a sparring couple who end up taking on a "five-star" mission. The second channels serious rom-com vibes, with Efron and Alba suffering a suitcase mix-up and ending up with each other's bags and travel itineraries. You can check out the adverts below.

Fans of Alba and Efron will no doubt be keeping an eye on Alba's TikTok moving forward, hoping The Greatest Showman heartthrob will make an appearance again at some point in the near future.
