Aaron Carter revealed a desire to help Kanye West turn his "life around" in an interview that was released days before his sudden death.
Pop star turned rapper Carter, 34, was found dead in a bathtub on the morning of November 5 at his home in Lancaster, California, CNN reported. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to local authorities.
While the circumstances surrounding the musician's death have yet to be publicly revealed, much was made of the fact that his final tweet was directed at beleaguered rapper West, who has legally changed his name to Ye.
"Yo Kanye let's talk... man to man," Carter wrote in the November 3 tweet, which now sits atop the star's account as his final words on the platform.

While the tweet sparked a slew of conspiracy theories, with numerous fans of West spreading the unfounded idea that late star was "silenced" before he could come to the rapper's aid, he was actually critical of the rapper in a recent interview.
Carter made an appearance on Adam "Adam22" Grandmaison's podcast, No Jumper, which went live online on November 2 and showed the "I Want Candy" singer speaking about various aspects of his life, including his thoughts on West.
Over the past few weeks, West has been criticized for number of statements and gestures, including wearing a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt to his Yeezy brand fashion show, claiming that George Floyd died of a fentanyl overdose, and making a series of antisemitic comments on social media and in interviews.
After a number of businesses to cut ties with West, Forbes reported that the fallout had caused West's net worth to plummet from $2 billion to $400 million.

"I've been on the fence about Kanye for a minute," Carter said in his interview, before Grandmaison informed him that Adidas had that day cut ties with the rapper. Adidas told Newsweek on October 25 it had cut ties with West.
"In my opinion right now, Kanye, you f****** stupid as s*** for f****** putting out a f****** White Lives Matter shirt when the white population isn't being targeted and dealing with prejudice and racism and all of this b*******," Carter continued. "That's what Black Lives Matter stood for, is that. All the injustice that's been done to the Black community.
"So when I saw [West's T-shirt], I was like, 'You know what, what the f*** is he doing?' Because I'm like, 'Bro, seriously? You stupid as f***. You're a broke ass boy.'"
When Grandmaison interjected to state that West has "hundreds of millions of dollars," Carter responded: "I don't give a f***. In your mind, Kanye, you're broke."
Carter described himself as being "in the middle of the white community and the Black community," citing the numerous Black musicians he has worked with throughout his career.
Despite his criticism of West, Carter expressed a desire to record with West—as well as talk with him about the direction his life was taking.
"I would do a song with Kanye just because he's controversial and he's got a great mind," said Carter. "Maybe I could sit him down and have an intellectual conversation with him on how to turn your f****** stupid life around when you're being stupid like me."
When Grandmaison suggested that Carter could "intellectually battle" West on a track, the interviewee said: "If we sat down together, you have no idea what that interview would be like."
Asked if West's Yeezy brand would still have a future, Carter, who had his own apparel line called Love, said: "I do. I actually do. Just as long as they keep it at the price that it is... Just as long as it's made [in] the same kind of quality... I've got about 30 pairs myself.
"I actually enjoy them. I have a very high arch in my foot, so I walk on the balls of my feet and they feel f****** good. So I think Kanye did a great job with that. But I think my Love collection could do way better than that. I built it off of nothing."
Carter had a career as an actor, singer and rapper, and first became a pop singer in 1997 when he released four studio albums, including his self-titled debut album when he was just nine years old, according to TMZ.
He also opened on tour for the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears before going on his first solo tour in 2000, according to People, and appeared alongside his elder brother, Nick Carter, and their three siblings Bobbie Jean, Leslie and Angel in their short-lived 2006 E! reality show House of Carters. Taking a route as a rap singer, Aaron Carter released his fifth and final studio album, LØVË, in 2018.
Newsweek has reached out to a representative of West for comment.
