🎙️ Voice is AI-generated. Inconsistencies may occur.

Week Three of America's Got Talent (AGT) has come and gone, with two more acts securing a spot in the highly prized live final in September 2022.

On Tuesday's show, audiences were treated to a variety of acts including Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer Act Sara James, impressive dance routines, and draw-dropping magic acts.

Despite the impressive performances and flawless talent, only two lucky acts made it through to the final, with the remaining nine acts heading home from the competition.

So, which acts are joining country music trio Chapel Hart, magician Yu Hojin, country singer Drake Milligan and saxophonist Avery Dixon in the final?

Newsweek has everything you need to know.

Who Made It Through to the Final in 'AGT' Week 3?

Trio
L-R Sara James, Celia Muñoz and Nicolas Ribs were in the Top 3 of the "America's Got Talent" Week 3 show. James and Ribs made it through to the live final in September.

The two acts who secured a spot in the live final and brought them one step closer to the $1 million prize and a Las Vegas headline show were singer Sara James and magician Nicolas Ribs.

The top five acts out of 11 were whittled down to comedian Hayden Kristal, ventriloquist Celia Muñoz, singer Amanda Mammana, magician Nicolas Ribs and singer Sara James.

Rapidly, five became three, leaving Nicolas Ribs, Sara James and Celia Muñoz all within a chance of sailing through to the next round.

The act that received the most votes from the public was Sara James, judge Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer Act.

For the semifinal, James performed a cover of Elton John's "Rocket Man" receiving a standing ovation from the audience and judges.

After it was revealed she had made it through to the live final, James said: "I'm speechless, literally. The fact that I'm even here is unreal."

Cowell added: "You're gonna make this final, in my opinion, a very special final. I would also like to say thank you to our audience because we have the best audience in the world."

It was nail-biting few moments before host Terry Crews announced Nicolas Ribs would be joining James in the final, sadly meaning Muñoz narrowly missed out on a spot in the live final.

Taking to Instagram after the result was announced, Ribs posted an image of himself backstage with the caption: "Going to the finals of America's got talent after 3 months of work absolutely insane!!!! [translated]"

However, there is still hope one of the above nine acts will appear in the final as there is a wild-card spot up for grabs, meaning one act from the semifinals will be brought back to compete in the live final. The decision on who comes back will be ultimately up to the public.

If Twitter is anything to go by, Celia Muñoz from Week 3 is a clear favorite to return for the live final.

One fan tweeted: "Celia Munoz for the wild card—she's awesome! #AGT."

Another added: "BRING CELIA MUÑOZ BACK WITH THE WILDCARD I BEG OF YOU #AGT #AmericasGotTalent."

A third fan penned: "Celia Munoz has to be the WILDCARD!! SO SAD that she got voted off!! SHE WAS UNIQUE and original in what she did!"

America's Got Talent airs Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
