Amy Robach's husband Andrew Shue revealed the moment he fell in love with her in an interview from earlier this year.

Robach is currently embroiled in an alleged affair scandal after photos of her cozying up to her GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchor, T.J. Holmes, were published by U.K. newspaper the Daily Mail.

The journalists have been removed from the Good Morning America spinoff for the time being while the network figures out next steps.

On December 12, ABC News President Kim Godwin reportedly sent an email to employees, which stated the pair would "remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review."

Robach, 49, and Shue, 55, got married on February 6, 2010. While the 20/20 correspondent is a mom to daughters Ava and Annie—whom she shares with ex-husband Tim McIntosh—the Melrose Place alum has sons Nate, Aidan and Wyatt from a previous relationship.

Holmes, 45, meanwhile is also married. He tied the knot with Marilee Fiebig on March 1, 2010, just weeks after Robach and Shue said, "I do."

The former CNN correspondent has three children—daughter Sabine with Fiebig and daughter Brianna and son Jaiden with ex-wife Amy Ferson.

In an interview on The Doctors in May, Shue gushed over his spouse.

"You two are such a great dynamic, happy, attractive couple," co-host Andrew P. Ordon said on the show, before turning to Shue. "Do you remember when you knew that Amy was the right one for you?" he asked.

"There was a moment, it was about two weeks after we met—I know, I took two weeks— but I was looking at her and we were sitting across from each other in a restaurant and she was glowing," Shue explained.

"And I thought, 'What is happening?' She literally looked like she was like six-dimensional. I'm just completely enraptured and in love."

Robach added that their whirlwind romance sparked questions. "We were engaged after four months and married after 10 months and everyone asked me when the baby was due," she laughed. "They couldn't imagine that we had just fallen madly in love and couldn't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."

The duo met at a book party launch in April 2009. In the same interview on The Doctors, Robach joked that one of his producers is "to blame" for getting them together before correcting herself, saying, "I should say she gets the credit."

Robach and Shue released their children's book, Better Together, in 2020. The story uses animals to help children process divorce and the blending of families. In 2021, Holmes interviewed the couple about the project.

"It's a love story like none other," Holmes said of Robach and Shue's relationship, adding that they're "two of my favorite people on the planet." Holmes also called Shue a "dear, dear friend."

Robach and Holmes last appeared on GMA3 on Friday, December 2, where they seemingly referenced their alleged romance.

"You know, it's too bad it's Friday. It's been a great week. I just want this one to keep going and going and going," Holmes said at the time, to which Robach replied, "Speak for yourself."

"I am very excited about the weekend—and I'm sure everyone else is too," she continued. "We all love our Fridays around here. Some of us do, at least."

Since then, Robach and Holmes were spotted arm-in-arm in New York City's Financial District, where they enjoyed lunch at a restaurant near her apartment.
