Britney Spears fans have been questioning the star's reasons for deleting her Instagram account just days after her wedding to Sam Asghari.
The 40-year-old pop star is an active Instagram user but has completely deactivated her profile prompting a wave of conspiracy theories from her avid fans.
Some are suggesting that family drama could be at play while others think she is simply taking a break from social media to enjoy her honeymoon.
Before deleting her account, Spears' family drama was reignited after she did not invite her mother Lynne Spears, her father Jamie Spears and her sister Jamie-Lynn Spears to her wedding.
Earlier reports suggested that Spears' brother, Bryan Spears, was invited to the nuptials but the singer denied these claims in a now-deleted post which said: "You were never invited to my wedding... GO F**K YOURSELF Bryan."

In another deleted post, the singer said she "can't stand most alcohol," while also calling out her family for drug testing her every week during her conservatorship.
The pop star was placed on a psychiatric hold at the start of 2008, leading to her controversial conservatorship, where her personal and financial decisions were overseen by others for almost 14 years before the arrangement was dissolved late last year.
Last week, Spears shared an inspirational video to her Instagram account along with a voiceover that said: "And don't you ever forget how they gave you distance when you needed love."
This prompted a response from her mother in the comments which read: "You have got to be kidding me!!" along with the eye-roll emoji. The comments and posts have been deleted but screenshots were captured by Page Six.
Prior to this, her mother publicly commented on some of her daughter's wedding photos, with one comment reading: You look radiant and so happy! Your wedding is the 'dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special! I am soooo happy for you! I love you!"
It was also reported that Spears has moved home and is no longer living at her Los Angeles home with the N.Y. Post reporting that she and Asghari have moved into a sprawling 11,650-square-foot residence in Calabasas, California.

According to Page Six, the star has also reportedly fired her security team after her ex-husband Jason Alexander broke into her home on the day of her wedding.
The recent goings-on in Spears' life has led fans to speculate on the reasons why she deleted her account.
One TikTok creator, who goes by the name of devotedly.yours, speculated that her recent interactions with her family on Instagram prompted her to delete her account.

"Do yourself a favor and just shut up," the creator said of Lynne Spear's comment. This video has received more than 200,000 views.
One comment reads: "Britney is expressing her pain & the mother rolls her eyes?! That Speaks volumes."
While another added: "I think she's just tired of STILL being criticized over EVERYTHING!"
Meanwhile, TikToker Joshua Pingley urged fans not to panic about the star deleting her Instagram.
"Britney goes on a monthly Instagram cleanse and she's most likely on her honeymoon right now," he said.

On Twitter, some are suggesting that Spears' may return to Instagram with an announcement of new music.
"Surprise incoming. EVERYONE GET READY," reads one tweet.
While another added: "She does this every time a court day comes closer or a big event happens."
The Instagram deletion comes as Spears' father filed paperwork requesting that his daughter sit for a deposition in an effort to challenge claims on social media.
"Britney's counsel claims Britney is exempt from discovery obligations regarding her allegations of wrongdoing, but Jamie has a right to prepare his case and depose Britney, as she is the individual making unsupported claims against him," Jamie's lawyer, Alex Weingarten, wrote in a declaration, per People.
This could also be a factor in Spears' decision to delete her account.
Newsweek has reached out to Spears' representative for comment.
